As the first-ever WWE Day 1 pay-per-view scheduled for tonight keeps drawing closer, the promotional material related to the show continues to flow.
On Saturday afternoon, several WWE Superstars scheduled to work tonight’s show emanating from State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia and streaming live via the WWE Network on Peacock took to their respective Twitter pages to share official WWE Day 1 graphics and some quick comments on their matches on the card.
“Tonight, I get MY WWE Championship back,” wrote Lashley regarding the WWE Championship Fatal-4-Way co-main event. “Now the only question is who do I want to beat to win it? Maybe I’ll let YOU decide!”
Lashley concluded, “What do you say All Mighty fans?”
Kevin Owens, who is also in the match featuring Lashley, Seth Rollins and reigning WWE Champion Big E., simply wrote, “R-E-J-O-I-C-E.”
For the Raw Women’s Championship match featuring Becky Lynch defending against Liv Morgan, ‘The Man’ wrote, “I left a little champagne in the bottle to continue the celebration after I beat Liv tonight.”
Her opponent, Liv Morgan, wrote, “The time for talking is over. It’s time to make history.”
Morgan finished her comments by reacting to the champagne remark made by ‘Big Time Becks.’
“P.S… I’ll gladly take that leftover champagne Becks.”
Check out additional WWE Day 1 comments from other Superstars scheduled in matches on the inaugural installment of the newest addition to WWE’s annual pay-per-view calendar embedded below.
