Last October, the WWE filed to trademark seven of their talents’ names, but they have reportedly been denied by the United States Patent and Trademark Office due to the lack of written consent from their talents who perform under their names.
According to HeelByNature.com, WWE only has up to six months to comply with the lacking documents, or else their trademarks will be abandoned.
Those talents include Dominik Mysterio, Kay Lee Rae, Chelsea Green, A-Kid, Amale, Amir Jordan and Aoife Valkyrie.
WWE found themselves facing the same situation this past year when filing trademarks for talents such as Drew Gulak, Pete Dunne, Mercedes Martinez, Keith Lee, Raquel González and Mia Yim and it should be noted that Mia Yim, Keith Lee and Mercedez Martinez filed the trademark for their respective names on their own, outside the company.
