Matches Tonight: Four

Single’s Match: Rey Mysterio w/ Dom vs Jimmy Uso w/ Jey. Rey defeated Jimmy with assistance from Dom (they used the same cheating pin the Usos have used on them twice). 8:22-8:31pm EST.

24/7 Championship Match: Reginald the Sommelier(c) vs Chad Gable w/ Otis. After interference, Reggie retained. Short, entertaining match. Roughly 8:49-8:55pm EST.

Six-Man Tag Team Match: King Shinsuke Nakamura, Cesaro & Big E vs the Dirty Dawgs & Intercontinental Champion Apollo Crews w/ Cmdr. Azeez. Short, exciting and entertaining match that saw King Nakamura pick up the win for his team. 9:18-9:27pm EST.

Women’s Tag Team Main Event Match: Carmella & Zelina Vega vs Sasha Banks & SmackDown Women’s Champion Bianca Belair. Banks & Belair worked together to successfully overcome their opponents, picking up the submission win with a Bank Statement. After the match, however, Banks turned on Belair and beat the tar out of her. 9:45-9:55pm EST.

Miscellaneous Non-Match Segments of Note:

Summer of Cena: John Cena opened our program, entering to a solid reaction. He cut a solid promo on Roman, then had a great comical segment with Baron Corbin. 8:00-8:16pm EST.

SmackDown Women’s 100 Day Championship Celebration: A segment meant to honor Belair’s first 100 days was interrupted by Carmella and Zelina Vega, who both attacked the champ.

Big Return: Luckily, Belair was saved by a returning Sasha Banks. The two danced together in the ring afterwards.

Contract Signing: Reigns signed the contract but before Finn could, Corbin attacked Finn in an effort to steal the title shot. Cena then hit the ring, attacking Corbin, and successfully signed the contract, seemingly stealing the match and setting it up for SummerSlam. Later in the program, it was confirmed by Officials Pearce & Deville that Cena will face Reigns.

Next Week: Finn Balor faces Baron Corbin.
