Despite WWE promoting last night’s episode as a season premiere and leading in with a Kickoff Show featuring Steve Austin and NFL’s George Kittle, viewership for the show fell week-over-week, dipping below 2 million to 1.987 million for a two-hour average.
Hour to hour, the show was very consistent generating 1.978 million for hour one and 1.995 million for hour two.
On the night, Smackdown averaged a 0.5 rating in the 18-49 demographic, also down and second on the night behind Shark Tank, which was an hour long show.
