WWE Hall of Famer, and “Heartbreak Kid” Shawn Michaels recently shared thoughts on his final WWE match. Michales appeared alongside Degeneration-X member Triple H, in a tag team match against The Brothers of Destruction, which went down at the Crown Jewel event in Saudi Arabia. Michaels sat down with the New York Post, and explained that he is quite remorseful about the way it all went down, and talked about the match from The Undertaker’s point of view. Shawn mentioned:
“I do. I had no idea that from Mark’s standpoint he was looking at it as that might be one he could walk away on”.
“The Showstopper” continued to talk about the match, and mentioned the way he felt going into the appearance. The former three-time WWE Champion explained:
“For me, it was [fun]. It was just a chance to be with my buddies”.
Shawn finished up his thoughts on the rather infamous appearance, and talked about how he feels whenever he thinks about the match now. The first Grand Slam Champion in WWE stated:
“All I can do is apologize to the guys”
