— After deciding to leave WWE in the spring of 2023, Nikki Bella (Garcia) made her TV return to the company last night on Monday Night Raw on Netflix and spoke on the red carpet, hinting at a possible return to the promotion and perhaps into the ring as a wrestler. Bella called WWE “home” and then talked about a potential return.
“Well, WWE is home and WWE is one of the coolest events, one of the coolest forms of entertainment truly in the world. And Netflix delivers worldwide, as we’ve all seen. So I think it’s just two powerhouses that come together. They’re going to make magic happen and I want to be here for the magic. I want to celebrate all of the talent that I’ve grown up with the past 20 years, which is so crazy to say. And I want to be here to just root them on.”
“Oooohh, will we ever see the Bella Twins back? Good question. You know, I just may be here looking at my competition soon. So, stay tuned.”
— Nikki, who was previously in a long-term relationship with John Cena, and twin sister Brie, who is married to AEW’s Bryan Danielson, departed WWE officially in March of 2023 at which time the duo began using their real names. Nikki showed up in the news all summer after a domestic incident with her then-husband Artem Chigvintsev led to the latter’s arrest and ultimately a divorce between the two. The former couple share custody of their young son and Bella has left the door open regarding a potential return once her son gets older.
