— Ever since Triple H took control of WWE’s talent and creative departments, there have been returns aplenty with many previously released superstars signing deals to come back to the promotion and more rumored to be on their way in. Add former WWE champion Braun Strowman to the latter list as fightfulselect.com reports that internally, Strowman’s name has been discussed about a potential return. The report stressed that this doesn’t mean Strowman is coming back, only that his name has been brought up as a person of interest for WWE.
— Strowman was released over a year ago as part of WWE’s at the time ongoing budget cuts after previously signing a lucrative multi-million dollar, multi-year contract which was quite a bit higher than most people were getting as a result of him playing “hardball” during negotiations. Since being released, Strowman has wrestled sparingly, perhaps due to his past comments criticizing indie wrestlers. However, those who have seen him have commented that Strowman looks to be in peak shape, perhaps even better than during his run with WWE.
