— With WWE’s Money in the Bank event now in the rearview mirror, attention turns to SummerSlam which takes place in less than a month. According to Dave Meltzer of f4wonline.com, the company has penciled in six huge matches for their second biggest event:
- Roman Reigns vs. Jey Uso
- Cody Rhodes vs. Brock Lesnar
- Trish Stratus vs. Becky Lynch
- Asuka vs. Charlotte Flair vs. Bianca Belair
- Gunther vs Drew McIntyre
- Ronda Rousey vs. Shayna Baszler
— In addition to these matches, Logan Paul is expected to wrestle at the event in some sort of “showcase match” but Meltzer reported that the expected opponent was not going to be LA Knight, as many would assume. Names such as Seth Rollins, Kevin Owens & Sami Zayn and probably Edge were thrown as potential opponents. SummerSlam takes place on Saturday, August 5th at Ford Field in Detroit, Michigan.
