WWE returns to the pay-per-view arena this evening, as WWE Hell In A Cell streams live via the WWE Network on Peacock from the ThunderDome inside of the Yuengling Center in Tampa, Florida.

On tap for what is the 13th event under Hell In A Cell chronology is a highly-anticipated six-match card, complete with three championship matches.

Scheduled for the program this evening is Bobby Lashley vs. Drew McIntyre in a Last Chance Hell In A Cell match for the WWE Championship, as well as Bianca Belair vs. Bayley in a Hell In A Cell match for the SmackDown Women’s Championship and Rhea Ripley vs. Charlotte Flair for the Raw Women’s Championship.

Additionally, Alexa Bliss vs. Shayna Baszler, Kevin Owens vs. Sami Zayn and Cesaro vs. Seth Rollins are advertised in undercard bouts for the show, which starts at 7/6c with a one-hour Kickoff Show pre-show that will also be available across WWE’s digital and social media platforms.

WWE HELL IN A CELL RESULTS (6/20/2021)

The promotional video package airs as the official Kickoff Show stream for tonight’s WWE Hell In A Cell show is now in progress as our evening is underway inside the Yuengling Center in Tampa, FL.

The Then. Now. Forever. signature hits and now the actual pre-show itself is getting rolling. We shoot live inside the ThunderDome inside of the Yuengling Center for the first time this evening as the official HIAC theme plays.

We hear the voice of Kayla Braxton welcome us to the show as we settle over to the pre-show panel. She then introduces her fellow panelists for the HIAC Kickoff Show, which includes Jerry “The King” Lawler, JBL and Peter Rosenberg.

The gang has some fun at the expense of Rosenberg and then they begin delving into tonight’s show, with many calling it their personal favorite stop on the annual WWE PPV calendar. From there, they start diving into the card, giving their quick thoughts on many of the matches scheduled for tonight. They announce Mandy Rose vs. Natalya for the pre-show.

Our first in-depth video package for a match scheduled for tonight airs, as the vignette plays now telling the story leading up to tonight’s Hell In A Cell match showdown between Bayley and Bianca Belair for the SmackDown Women’s Championship.

After the video package for the Belair-Bayley bout wraps up, we return live inside the ThunderDome where Sonya Deville is introduced. She joins the Kickoff Show crew and runs down her thoughts on the SmackDown Women’s title bout set for this evening.

We take a quick break and then return to the pre-show as a video airs telling the story leading up to the advertised showdown tonight between Alexa Bliss and Shayna Baszler. The package wraps up and we return to the panel, where Deville is still sitting, and they give their thoughts on this unique rivalry.

Now we move on to our Credit One Bank “One to watch” segment of the show, which features the panelists giving a closer look at tonight’s Raw Women’s Championship bout pitting Rhea Ripley against “The Queen” Charlotte Flair. From there, they head to another quick break.

We’re back from the break and the panelists plug the official HIAC theme by Ozzy Osbourne called “Straight to Hell.” Then we head to our next video package, this time looking back at the Hell In A Cell showdown between Roman Reigns and Rey Mysterio from this week’s Friday Night SmackDown show.

The panelists react briefly to the Reigns-Mysterio bout and then shift gears to another bout scheduled for tonight’s PPV card. We send things to the package detailing the history between Cesaro and Seth Rollins leading into tonight’s PPV.

From there, we return to the panel. The panelists give their thoughts on the Cesaro-Rollins match and then shift gears to introduce the videos to tell the story behind tonight’s Sami Zayn vs. Kevin Owens match. We then shoot live backstage where Megan Morant is with Zayn. Zayn talks about karma and how he believes in it after seeing Commander Azeez handle Owens.

After the Zayn interview backstage, we return to the panel, who crack some jokes about how annoying Zayn has become. Rosenberg is the lone panelist who likes him, which the others aren’t surprised to discover. The panelists then get serious and talk for real about tonight’s Zayn-Owens contest. Kayla leads us into another break, noting our lone Kickoff Show bout will be waiting on the other side.

Mandy Rose vs. Natalya

Once the quick time-out wraps up, we return live inside the ThunderDome as we head down to ringside for our only pre-show match scheduled for the Hell In A Cell Kickoff Show.

The commentary team of Jimmy Smith, Corey Graves and Byron Saxton plug the HIAC PPV starting at the top of the hour and then they prep us for the aforementioned Rose-Nattie match.

With that said, the familiar sounds of Mandy Rose’s theme plays as she makes her way down to the ring accompanied by Dana Brooke. As they settle into the ring, highlights from their interaction with the Women’s tag champs from Raw are shown.

Back live, we see Rose and Brooke react to the package on the titan tron and then Natalya’s theme hits. Nattie makes her way down to the ring accompanied by Tamina. It’s time to get things started inside the ring here at Hell In A Cell Kickoff Show.

The bell sounds and we’re off-and-running with our first match of the night. Rose and Nattie take their time getting this one going. Rose takes Nattie down to the mat, but Nattie uses a leg-scissors to reverse her. Rose then snatches the ankle of Nattie and locks in a calf-crusher on one-half of the women’s tag champs.

Rose and Nattie scramble back to their feet where Rose slaps a side head-lock on her opponent. Nattie drops down and Rose flips over her in a sign of good athleticism. Rose continues to hang with Nattie step-for-step, rolling her up and scoring a near fall that prompts Nattie to smile and applaud afterwards. Nattie goes after the arm of Rose, but Rose uses the ropes on the throat of Nattie to shift the momentum back in her favor.

Nattie continues to go to the submission attempt route, only for Rose to show off her continued improvement in the ring as she hangs with the more experienced veteran move-for-move, remaining competitive all along the way. Nattie reverses an abdominal stretch attempt and taunts her by shouting at her that she’s just a model. Nattie fires up and shows some aggression, nearly finishing Rose off but ultimately failing to do so.

Mandy fights back into the lead again and then heads to the top-rope, where she connects with a beautiful missile drop kick that secures her another close near fall. Nattie hangs on and starts to pull back into the offensive lead again. We see a number of back-to-back reversals from Nattie to Rose and vice-versa on submission and pin attempts, with neither able to finish off the other just yet, but getting closer on each attempt. Finally, Nattie locks in the Sharpshooter and after giving a good showing, Rose has no choice but to tap out.

Winner: Natalya

We return to the pre-show panel after another quick commercial break. Kayla Braxton welcomes us back and then leads the rest of the panelists in running down the entire lineup for tonight’s PPV main card, which kicks off in just a few minutes.

Afterwards, Kayla asks each of the panelists which match on the card they are anticipating the most. Lawler picks the Charlotte-Ripley bout. JBL picks Lashley and McIntyre. Rosenberg agrees with JBL and mentions the women’s title bouts as honorable mentions.

Now we move on to the elaborate video package to tell the story leading up to the scheduled main event for tonight, the Last Chance Hell In A Cell showdown between WWE Champion Bobby Lashley and Drew McIntyre.

The package wraps up and we return to the panel where the panelists spend the final two minutes of the pre-show running down their thoughts on the WWE Championship main event. The Kickoff Show wraps up with the ominous music playing as the Hell In A Cell cage is lowered around the ring and Kayla informing us that the SmackDown Women’s Championship will start the PPV card off in the ring.

Bianca Belair (C) vs. Bayley

The Then. Now. Forever. Together. signature airs again and then we watch as the elaborate cold open video package begins to officially start off the PPV broadcast.

From there, we shoot inside the ThunderDome in the Yuengling Center in Tampa, FL. where fireworks explodes as the camera pans around the venue while Michael Cole mentions tonight being the final PPV to emanate from the ThunderDome before WWE returns on the road.

Cole welcomes in his broadcast partner Pat McAfee as the Hell In A Cell cage structure finishes lowering around the ring as the ominous music plays. They mention the SmackDown Women’s Championship bout kicking off things in the ring and then send us to the video package telling the story behind tonight’s Belair-Bayley bout.

We return from the package inside the ThunderDome where Bayley’s theme hits and the former Grand Slam Champion makes her way down to the ring for our first of three championship matches scheduled for tonight’s show, and our first of two Hell In A Cell matches.

Bayley settles into the ring and her music fades down. Cole and McAfee talk about the importance of HIAC experience and then the theme for Bianca Belair hits and the SmackDown Women’s Champion makes her way down to the ring, swinging her hair as she settles into the squared circle for tonight’s PPV opener.

The bell sounds and we’re off-and-running with this title match. Bayley avoids Belair early on. She grabs a chair and brings it into the ring but before she can use it, she loses it and now Belair puts it to use as she begins her assault on the challenger. She continues dominating the action as she throws the chair down and takes Bayley to the top.

She punches away, back-flips off the ropes and then leaps back up only for Bayley to move out of the way and slam Belair face-first into the ring post. She then whips her shoulder-first into the other ring post. Bayley is now firmly in control of the action as Belair sells the punishment her arm has endured.

Bayley focuses her offensive attack on the softened up arm of the champ now. She heads out to the floor and grabs half of the steel ring steps. She struggles but ends up getting it in the ring, where we see Belair still rolling around in pain on the mat. Bayley puts Belair’s ponytail on the steps and stands on it. Belair sweeps Bayley’s legs out from under her but Bayley recovers and goes back to work on the champ.

Now we see Bayley continue to utilize the long ponytail of Belair to her advantage. She ties it into the bottom rope. She goes to charge at her but Belair trips her up. This frees up some time to untie her hair from the rope. She throws the steps at Bayley on the floor but misses. She goes out after her and slams her into the ring post. She smashes Bayley’s face into the cage until she stops and starts screaming. The commentators inform us that Bayley bit her way free.

This allows Bayley to return to the offensive driver’s seat, taking it to Belair and then searching under the ring for a weapon. She pulls out two kendo sticks taped together and whips Belair in the stomach. We see a sunset flip from Bayley into a powerbomb, launching Belair back-first into the cage. Bayley taunts and shouts at Belair before pulling another taped up kendo stick from under the ring.

She uses it as a bridge, laying it across the ring apron and through the holes of the HIAC. She pulls out another kendo stick and does the same thing as Michael Cole explains how she’s done this in the past, only for Bayley to yell at him to shut up. Belair ends up recovering and she slams Bayley through the kendo sticks. Ouch! She brings her back in the ring and goes for the cover, but Bayley kicks out.

Belair heads back out to the floor and pulls a steel chair out from under the ring. She heads back into the ring and blasts Bayley with it. She charges at Bayley with it but Bayley kicks it right into Belair’s face, knocking her down and turning her inside-out in the process. She unfolds the chair and grabs the bad arm of Belair that she softened up earlier in the match. She pulls Belair’s arm through the unfolded chair and yanks down on it repeatedly while Pat McAfee informs us “#HIAC” is trending number one in the United States right now on Twitter.

Now we see Bayley tie the long ponytail of Belair to the bottom of a steel chair. She puts her boot on Belair’s chest and pulls on it. She taunts Belair one time too many and Belair escapes. She holds the chair as Bayley charges at her but rams her own knee into the chair. Belair ties her own ponytail to Bayley’s arm like a bullrope match. She picks Bayley up while tied to her and pummels her and then drags her out to the floor, where she whacks the hell out of her with a kendo stick and rams her into the cage over and over again.

Bayley and Belair brawl on the floor at ringside and now a ladder is pulled out from under the ring and put into the ring. Bayley and Belair tug for it and then Bayley rams Belair’s face into it in the corner of the ring. She puts Belair in the ladder and closes it on her. Bayley hits a Rose Plant while Belair was trapped in the ladder, which hurts herself as much as it did Belair. She goes for the cover but the champ hangs on. Belair recovers and goes for the Glam Slam but didn’t get all of it. She lays a ladder on top of Bayley and heads to the top-rope. She jumps over it and then runs back and hits a senton back-first onto it. She hits the K.O.D. on Bayley on the ladder after that for the pin fall victory to retain her title.

Megan Morant Talks To Bianca Belair

We shoot backstage after a quick commercial time-out where we see Megan Morant standing by with Bianca Belair. She is asked about her first experience inside Hell In A Cell. She calls it brutal, pointing out Bayley kicked her butt and saying she’ll never forgive her for it as she walks off.

Checking In With The Champ

From there we shoot to Bobby Lashley partying with MVP and their ladies friends in their locker room. Finally the camera closes in on The All Mighty One, who looks down at his title and appears to be nervous.

A Message From Alexa Bliss

Now we move over to Alexa’s Playground where we see Ms. Bliss on her swing as she thanks us all for joining her in hell. She then delivers a sadistic message to Shayna Baszler and laughs to end the segment.

Seth Rollins vs. Cesaro

We shoot back to the commentary team of Michael Cole and Pat McAfee. The duo set up the next match and then the video package airs telling the story leading up to tonight’s Seth Rollins vs. Cesaro showdown.

The package wraps up and we return live inside the ThunderDome where Seth Rollins and Cesaro make their respective ring entrances. The bell sounds and we are off-and-running with our second main card bout of the evening.

Cesaro jumps off to an early offensive lead after avoiding a sneak-attack-start from Seth. Cesaro takes it to Rollins in the ring briefly before the action quickly spills out to the floor. Cesaro bashes Rollins with a big European uppercut and rolls him back in the ring. He climbs to the top and comes flying off with a double-ax handle smash over the dome of Rollins.

As Cesaro goes to work on Rollins in the corner, we see Seth trip him and Cesaro’s face bounces off the turnbuckle. This shifts the momentum in Rollins’ favor. He rakes the eye of Cesaro while the ref was breaking them up. This gives Rollins firm control over the action at this point in the bout.

Rollins continues to work over Cesaro as McAfee quotes Karate Kid when talking about a man not being able to fight if he can’t breathe. Cesaro puts his trademark strength on display, muscling Rollins up while already in mid-air and using brute strength to suplex him over and down to the mat.

Moments later Rollins shifts things back into his favor, landing a big knee on Cesaro from the ring apron to the floor. He rolls Cesaro back in the ring and then hits a springboard knee from the top-rope for a close near fall.

Rollins looks to add insult to injury, however “The Swiss Superman” appears as he hulks up, no-selling some offensive attempts by Rollins and going to work on him on his own as the fans cheer him on. He takes one of Rollins’ gloves off and shoves it in his mouth to shut him up before blasting him with a big move for another near fall attempt.

Cesaro picks Rollins’ glove up and kicks it into the crowd. He blasts Rollins with some big uppercuts and then hits a power slam for another near fall attempt, which Rollins survives yet again. Cesaro goes on a prolonged offensive run, dominating Rollins in one-sided fashion for a couple of minutes until Rollins starts fighting back into competitive form and ultimately, in the offensive lead.

Now it’s looking more and more impressive as Cesaro kicks out after each attempt from Rollins to put him away. The commentators also sing the praises of Cesaro’s never-say-die attitude. Rollins snaps and starts yelling at Cesaro before slapping on a Fujiwara armbar attempt. Cesaro escapes but Rollins connects with a Falcon Arrow. Again Cesaro refuses to be put away, kicking out at two.

Cesaro gets Rollins with the Swing. He swings Rollins around a dozen times or so and then slaps a Sharpshooter on. Rollins reaches for the ropes but Cesaro reverses and snatches the arm, locking Rollins in a Crossface, before switching back to another Sharpshooter. Cesaro hits some stomps on Rollins and then goes for a pin, which Rollins reverses, stealing the win as Michael Cole calls him lucky.

WWE Summer Tour Hype, Kickoff Show Commentary & More

We head to a quick commercial break after the match and then shoot to the commentary table where Michael Cole and Pat McAfee plug WWE’s summer tour back on the road.

From there, they send things over to the four panelists over at the Kickoff Show area. Jerry Lawler, JBL and Peter Rosenberg then talk with Kayla Braxton, briefly giving their thoughts on some of the action thus far here tonight.

Finally, they begin the transition to our next bout of the evening, which will be Alexa Bliss vs. Shayna Baszler. The broadcast is sent to the pre-match video package telling the story leading up to this match.

Shayna Baszler vs. Alexa Bliss

After the elaborate video package for the Baszler-Bliss bout wraps up, we shoot backstage where Shayna Baszler is interviewed while Reginald and Nia Jax stand by her side.

Baszler doesn’t want to hear about Bliss’ doll Lilly. She vows to end what Bliss started tonight. Reginald goes to kiss Baszler’s hand, but she slaps him, looks weirded out and walks off.

From there, we shoot back live inside the ThunderDome where the familiar sounds of Baszler’s theme plays as “The Queen of Hearts” makes her way down to the ring along with Nia Jax and Reginald.

As the trio make their way down to the ring, the camera pans over to the commentary trio of Jimmy Smith, Corey Graves and Byron Saxton, who will be calling the action for this match. Baszler is settled into the ring and her music dies down.

Bliss’ theme hits and out she comes smiling and happy, all-the-while looking deliciously crazy. She slowly heads down to the ring and climbs on the apron, backing into the ring as the commentators talk about the bizarre behavior of Bliss.

The bell sounds and we’re off-and-running with our next match of the evening here at Hell In A Cell. Reginald hops on the apron, providing a distraction that allows a previously hesitant Baszler to go to work on Bliss. She stomps on Bliss in the corner, although Bliss’ crazy facial expression never changes.

Back standing, both ladies circle each other as Baszler is again looking hesitant to engage. Bliss goes to work on Baszler now, blasting her with a big kick. Reginald gets on the apron but starts covering his eyes and hops down on his own as Bliss stalks over in his direction.

Baszler takes this opportunity to attack Bliss from behind and again after beating her down she looks confused as Bliss sadistically laughs in her face. The commentators are playing the expected confusion as this sequence plays out a couple of times over and over again.

“The Queen of Hearts” continues to work Bliss over, all-the-while avoiding eye contact. Finally Bliss yells at her to look at her and when Baszler does, she becomes mesmerized, allowing Bliss to take over. As Bliss struggles to put Baszler away, she starts throwing hissy fits, kicking and stomping her feet in frustration.

Bliss throws Baszler out to the floor. Reginald heads over to check on her but Nia stops dead in her tracks. We find out this is because Bliss has locked eyes with her. She raises her hand, while Nia does the same as Reginald approaches them. She then mimes slapping him, while Nia’s hand does so for real.

Back in the ring, Bliss avoids an onslaught from Baszler and beats her down again. She heads to the top and comes flying off with her Twisted Bliss finisher for the pin fall victory.

Winner: Alexa Bliss

Sami Zayn vs. Kevin Owens

After another quick commercial break we return to the show where we get ready for our next match of the evening as the video package airs to tell the story leading into Sami Zayn vs. Kevin Owens.

From there, the familiar sounds of Zayn’s theme hits as the conspiracy theorist makes his way down to the ring. He settles in the squared circle as his theme dies down.

Now Owens’ theme hits and he makes his way down to the ring looking ready to handle business. The bell sounds and here we go with our final non-title bout of the evening.

Zayn and Owens charge at each other coming out of the gate, trading blows like Don Frye vs. Yoshihiro Akiyama from PRIDE FC’s past before Owens starts to take over control of the action.

Things shift to the favor of Zayn after we see the breathing issues from the Nigerian Nail from Commander Azzez starts to play a big factor in the match. Zayn takes full advantage of this, going to work on Owens as he struggles to breathe.

K.O. finally catches his wind enough to fight back, and fight back he does as he takes it to Zayn and pummels him in the corner. He charges across the ring and slams into him in the corner, dropping him, and then following up with a cannonball on Zayn in the corner.

After running around, the breathing of Owens becomes an issue again, and again Zayn wastes no time in taking advantage of this fact. Zayn goes to work on Owens including a spot where Owens gets clotheslined across the throat by the bottom rope.

Zayn follows that up with a big dive landing on Owens, who pops up in pain and runs around the ring grabbing his arm. Back in the ring, the ref stops Zayn from attacking so he can check on the arm of Owens. Zayn pushes past him and stomps away at Owens regardless.

Owens fights his way back into competitive form and the action spills out to the floor. Owens blasts Zayn with a clothesline that turns him inside-out. He goes to follow up with a diving senton off the ring apron but Zayn gets the knees up so Owens lands back-first on them hard.

Zayn hits a Blue Thunder Bomb on Owens when they return to the ring, however Owens kicks out of the subsequent pin attempt. With both guys on their feet now, they trade shots. Owens starts getting the better of them but when he goes for a stunner, Zayn counters.

The action spills to the floor again where this time, Owens does connect with a stunner. He starts coughing and struggling to breathe again but then rolls in the ring as the ref continues his count. Zayn barely beats the count but does make it back into the ring just in time. The camera shows Zayn bleeding from his mouth.

From their knees, Zayn and Owens trade shots until Owens blasts Sami with a big elbow. The fight continues moments later as Zayn stomps Owens throat over the ropes. He hits his running kick finisher on Owens in the corner and scores the pin fall victory.

Raw Women’s Championship
Rhea Ripley (C) vs. Charlotte Flair

After the Zayn-Owens match wraps up, we head to another quick commercial time-out. Upon returning, we are shown highlights of the Roman Reigns and Rey Mysterio Hell In A Cell match from Friday Night SmackDown, and then the video package for our co-main event is introduced.

The package airs, telling the story leading up to tonight’s showdown between Rhea Ripley and Charlotte Flair, with the Raw Women’s Championship at stake. Our featured women’s bout of the evening is up next.

From there, we return live inside the ThunderDome where we hear the familiar sounds of Charlotte Flair’s theme as “The Queen” makes her way down to the ring as fireworks and pyro explode and the fans react.

She settles into the ring and then her music dies down. This is my brutality plays now as the reigning and defending Raw Women’s Champion heading into this match, Rhea Ripley, emerges and begins heading down to the ring.

Now with both competitors in the ring, the ring announcer handles the formal pre-match introductions for this championship co-main event contest. As the ref holds the belt up in the air to show what these two are fighting for, Charlotte runs over and snatches it from him and throws it to Ripley, blasting her with a cheap shot when she puts her hands up to catch it.

The ref re-stores order and then the bell finally sounds to officially get this one going. Charlotte again jumps right on Ripley, who escapes out to the floor to re-group and recover before rolling back in and reengaging. When she does, a spinning elbow to the teeth of Charlotte connects. She drops “The Queen” with a big boot to the jaw, however after that, it is all Charlotte as she takes over the offensive control and goes to work on the champ, taunting her all-the-while.

As the action continues, Charlotte continues to dominate the action, now focusing her attack on the leg of Ripley. She goes to work on the softened up limb of the champ in the corner until Ripley starts firing up and fighting back. She hits a big kick that decks Charlotte but then she immediately sells her leg hurting afterwards.

She walks over to pick Charlotte up, but Charlotte blasts her and then locks in a straight ankle lock through the ropes on the already weakened leg of Ripley. Ripley slides into Charlotte on the floor with a kick, again stopping to show the pain she is feeling from her bum wheel. She heads to the top-rope and connects with a missile dropkick. She goes for the immediate cover afterwards, however Charlotte kicks out after two. She locks a unique submission on Charlotte but “The Queen” hangs on, reversing Ripley and sending her face-first into the turnbuckle in the corner.

Charlotte hits the Natural Selection and goes for the cover but gets caught trying to cheat with her foot on the ropes during the pin attempt. Ripley buys herself some time by launching Charlotte across the ring with a release German suplex. Charlotte fights back into the lead and then connects with a top-rope moonsault for another close near fall attempt.

Moments later, Charlotte grabs Ripley’s leg and she goes for the Figure-4 Leg lock, however Ripley avoided it. Charlotte still goes to work on the champ and is now pummeling her with ground and pound on the mat. She kicks away at the softened up leg of Ripley and again goes for the Figure-4 Leg lock only to again get kicked off by Ripley before fully locking it in. She grounds Ripley again and once more heads to the top-rope. Ripley stops her and punches away at her while she sits on the top turnbuckle. Ripley climbs up after her and heads all the way to the top-rope herself, connecting with a huge top-rope superplex for a close near fall of her own.

We see replays of the massive superplex and then Ripley selling her own leg after connecting with the move. The two start slapping and then punching each other. They trade strikes and Charlotte starts getting the better with chops. She lunges at Ripley but Ripley counters and connects with her Rip Tide. She goes for the cover but Charlotte gets her foot on the ropes in time. Ripley screams out in frustration as Charlotte rolls out to the floor to recover.

Ripley heads out after her, limping around the ring on the floor only to have her leg kicked out from under her upon catching up with the challenger. Charlotte follows that up by dropkicking the steel steps into Ripley’s hurt leg. Back in the ring, Charlotte hits a spear and then secures the Figure-4 Leg lock. Ripley screams out in pain as Charlotte tightens the squeeze. Ripley ends up making it to the ropes to break the hold and keep this one alive. Charlotte doesn’t let go, instead rolling out to the floor with Ripley and landing on the ground still in the hold. This breaks it, though, and we hear Ripley shout in pain. Charlotte goes after Ripley but Ripley tears the cover off the announce table and hits Charlotte with it, so the ref calls for the bell.

After The Match: The Brawl Continues …

Once the match wraps up, Charlotte and Ripley are still exchanging punches as the ref tries breaking them up, informing Ripley that she has been disqualified. They end up back in the ring where Ripley hits her Rip-Tide finisher on Charlotte. The ring announcer declares Charlotte the winner. Ripley demand he finish the rest of the announcement. He does, pointing out that still Raw Women’s Champion due to the DQ ruling — Rhea Ripley. Ripley smiles and walks off taunting Charlotte.

Once the Raw Women’s title co-main event wraps up, we head to another quick ad break. From there, we return inside the ThunderDome to the commentary trio of Jimmy Smith, Corey Graves and Byron Saxton, who quickly plug the WWE Money In The Bank PPV scheduled for July 18.

Now the trio switches gears and lead us into the pre-match video package that tells the story behind tonight’s main event, which is a Last Chance Hell In A Cell match for the WWE Championship between “The All Mighty” Bobby Lashley and “The Scottish Warrior” Drew McIntyre. Our WWE Hell In A Cell 2021 main event is up — NEXT.

We return inside the ThunderDome after that as the familiar ominous music plays while the Hell In A Cell structure is once again lowered down over the ring.

From there, the entrance music for former WWE Champion Drew McIntyre plays and “The Scottish Warrior” emerges looking all business and ready for battle.

He settles inside the HIAC and looks around as his music fades down. Lightning crashes and then the theme for The All Mighty WWE Champion himself plays as Bobby Lashley emerges and begins making his way down to the ring accompanied by MVP.

The commentators talk about the high stakes involved in this match, noting this could very well be the last chance for McIntyre to recapture the title that was once his from the man who currently holds it.

As the final ring introductions are given, McIntyre doesn’t blink or take his eyes off of Lashley for so much as a single second. The match is officially started and we are off-and-running with our main event of the evening.

McIntyre goes to work on Lashley straight from the word “go,” however once the action spills out to the floor, it isn’t long before the momentum shifts, as Lashley sends McIntyre face-first into the HIAC structure with authority.

As MVP sings the praises of The All Mighty one, we see McIntyre spring to life and go back to work on the champ. He grabs the steel ring steps and bashes them over Lashley’s dome. And again. Back in the ring, McIntyre looks for Future Shock but Lashley avoids it.

Drew and Bobby trade a few knuckle sandwiches and then McIntyre pulls into the offensive lead once again. He launches Lashley with a belly-to-belly overhead release suplex. The action spills out to the floor where McIntyre pulls a kendo stick out from under the ring and blasts the hell out of Lashley with it.

As we see Lashley writhing around in pain, in the background we see McIntyre pull a table out from under the ring. He leans it long-ways against the cage wall but before he can do anything else, he turns and is caught in the throat with the cane that MVP walks with, as he fed it through the cage to Lashley.

Lashley resumes offensive control of this championship contest as the brawl continues on the floor at ringside. Lashley slams McIntyre back-first into the ring apron and then slams him into the cage wall. He stands on the other half of the steel steps that weren’t used earlier and looks to suplex McIntyre. McIntyre avoids it and hoists Lashley up, slamming him down with White Noise on the steel steps.

The action continues as another table is pulled out from under the ring and set up the regular way in front of the bottom half of the steel steps outside of the ring. The two trade shots. Lashley whips McIntyre back-first into the cage. McIntyre hits the cage and comes right off, no-selling it and clotheslining Lashley. He rolls Lashley in the ring and then grabs a bunch of chairs and throws them in the ring.

We see some more back-and-forth action and then McIntyre hits a modified Alabama Slam on Lashley, who lands on one of the steel chairs that was thrown into the ring. McIntyre goes for the cover, however Lashley kicks out before the count of three. McIntyre grabs a chair and blasts Lashley across the back with it.

“The Scottish Warrior” heads to the top-rope with the steel chair in hand and evil in his eyes. He comes flying off but Lashley catches him coming down and starts looking to secure The Hurt Lock, only for McIntyre to avoid it before it was fully applied. McIntyre slams Lashley down and then hits a seated power-bomb for a close near fall attempt.

The fight spills out to the floor again where McIntyre hoists up the steel steps. He looks to blast the champ over the head with them, but instead Lashley backs McIntyre up against the HIAC wall and then pounds the steps into McIntyre’s face, which has nowhere to go with his head against the cage. Lashley bashes it together over and over again. Now he gets a kendo stick and wedges it into the cage links in the fence and this traps McIntyre’s body behind it like the bar seatbelt in a roller coaster.

Lashley goes to work with wide open shots to the bread-basket of McIntyre. He walks off and we see McIntyre break the kendo stick in half to free himself. We see the action return inside the ring where Lashley hits a big near-finisher on a foreign object. He starts wearing out McIntyre with a kendo stick until out of nowhere “The Scottish Warrior” stops selling the attack and glares directly into the eyes of the champion, who freezes in shock.

Now these two go at it and the ref gets bumped. McIntyre hits his semi-finisher and goes for the cover, however the ref is still down and out on the floor. McIntyre demands the other ref outside the cell unlock the chain and padlock and enter the cage so he can count the pin. As he talks with the ref and the ref starts looking to unlock the door, Lashley slaps The Hurt Lock on McIntyre from behind. McIntyre frees himself and blasts Lashley with a chair. He follows that up with a Claymore Kick. He goes for the cover but MVP also made it through the open door, yanking the second ref out of the ring during the count.

McIntyre goes out after MVP and brings him in the ring. He blasts him with a Claymore Kick. He smiles and gets up, walking around as the camera shows the vicious welts on his back from the earlier attack by the champ. McIntyre takes the necklace off of MVP’s neck but while looking down at MVP he finds himself victim to Lashley, who applies The Hurt Lock and starts cranking away on it. McIntyre launches his body back, putting them both through the table that was leaned up against the cage wall long-ways at the start of this match.

Both are slow to recover, but it is the challenger who stands up first. McIntyre rolls Lashley back into the ring. He looks at him with disdain and then reaches down to pick up a steel chair. He blasts Lashley across the back with it and then stalks him before wearing him out with repeated chair shot one-after-the-other. He kicks the chair out of the ring and backs into the corner, waiting for Lashley to get up. He charges at him with a Claymore Kick attempt, however Lashley drops down to the mat to avoid it, going under the kick that was designed to take his head off.

Lashley ends up chokeslamming McIntyre off the ring apron through the other table that was set up the regular way on the floor half-way through the match. Lashley picks up and rolls a lifeless McIntyre into the ring. He backs into the corner of the ring and watches as McIntyre struggles to get to his feet. He charges but McIntyre side-steps him. He goes for a back-slide but only gets two. He rocks the champ with a Glasgow Kiss. He picks him up and hits a Future Shock DDT. He then stands up and backs into a corner, stalking the champ and waiting for him to get up. When the champ finally does, McIntyre looks to charge at him with a Claymore Kick, but MVP holds onto his foot from ringside so he can’t. Lashley rolls McIntyre up and scores the pin. McIntyre’s last chance didn’t work out. The All Mighty Era continues.
