Following his match at WWE Backlash, Drew McIntyre went backstage and was immediately evaluated by the company’s medical team. McIntyre’s head missed the table during a massive “South of Heaven” spot with Damian Priest and instead landed on the concrete floor.

Following Backlash, WWE CCO Paul Levesque provided an update, noting that while McIntyre is a little bit banged up, he is otherwise fine which would suggest he did not suffer a concussion or other head injury. Meanwhile, Priest had a tooth knocked loose, presumably during the same spot.
