WWE has shown interest in a reigning champion from New Japan Pro Wrestling.
According to a report from PWInsider.com, WWE has expressed a keen interest in Giulia, the current NJPW STRONG Women’s Champion.
At 29 years old, Giulia made her debut for the Ice Ribbon promotion in 2017 after receiving training under Mio Shirai. She is a member of the current defending Artist of Stardom Champions, Donna del Mondo.
Giulia’s experience extends to World Wonder Stardom, and she even had a match at the IMPACT & NJPW: Multiverse United 2 event earlier this year in Philadelphia, PA. Notably, she recently secured a victory against Hyan at a New Japan Strong event in Las Vegas and also had engagements with STARDOM earlier this week.
Stay tuned for further updates on this development.
