WWE #SpeakingOut Statement

WWE Issues New, More Detailed Statement Confirming Zero-Tolerance Policy For #SpeakingOut Issues

WWE has issued yet another #SpeakingOut statement on Friday evening, the third in total after the initial generic one-line statement and the statement confirming the release of “Gentleman” Jack Gallagher due to allegations.

In response to rampant accusations of sexual assault and abuse for multiple superstars under contract, WWE issued the following more detailed zero-tolerance statement, noting that they would suspend and possibly terminate any talent who is arrested or convicted of any sort of misconduct involving child abuse, sexual assault or domestic violence.

The wording of their statement calls into questions the specific case around Jack Gallagher, who was released from his contract earlier this evening.

Featured below is the latest complete official statement from WWE regarding the growing #SpeakingOut movement and their zero-tolerance policy on the matter as it relates to the company’s Superstars and employees alike.

“Individuals are responsible for their own personal actions. WWE has zero tolerance for matters involving domestic violence, child abuse and sexual assault. Upon arrest for such misconduct, a WWE talent will be immediately suspended. Upon conviction for such misconduct, a WWE talent will be immediately terminated. WWE’s ability to fine, suspend or terminate a WWE talent will not be, however, limited or compromised in any manner in the event incontrovertible evidence of such illegal misconduct is presented to WWE.”
