WWE, J Sports End 25-Year Partnership, All Programming Discontinued In Japan

J Sports will be discontinuing WWE programming in Japan.

On Thursday, the longtime Japanese television partner of WWE announced that they will be discontinuing WWE pay-per-view events starting Monday, December 27.

Additionally, it was revealed that J Sports will also discontinue their six highlight-style shows for Raw and SmackDown starting Friday, December 31.

J Sports released the following announcement:

Thank you for watching J SPORTS. December 31, 2021 all 6 programs of English version / Japanese subtitled version / highlight version of “WWE Raw” and “WWE SmackDown” that have been delivered to WWE fans nationwide for many years Broadcasting / distribution of the “PPV Tournament” will end on December 27th (Monday).

In addition, the video distribution service J SPORTS on-demand paid product “WWE Pack” will end on January 31, 2022 (Monday).
