According to Fightful Select, long-time WWE personality Vickie Guerrero has informed several people that she will be returning to work with the company in the coming weeks. The report indicated that the specific dates of Guerrero’s appearances were not disclosed. However, it was noted that WWE Evolution is scheduled for July 12, and she may return before or during the event. It’s important to clarify that this information does not confirm her participation in WWE Evolution at this time.
The report also mentioned that Guerrero has maintained a positive relationship with WWE, having last appeared on WWE television during SmackDown’s return to the USA Network in September of the previous year.
Guerrero worked with AEW from 2019 until February 2023, when her contract expired without being terminated. After leaving AEW, Guerrero became involved in controversy when her daughter Sherilyn accused her stepfather, Kris Benson (Guerrero’s husband), of sexual assault during a cruise just before the COVID-19 lockdowns. While both Shaul and Chavo Guerrero expressed support for Sherilyn, Vickie Guerrero released a statement alongside Benson denying the allegations. Additionally, Vickie accused Sherilyn of lying and threatened legal action while disowning her daughter.
