Sting vs. Undertaker

WWE Legend, Top Current Star Respond To Sting’s Cryptic Tweet About Wanting A “Last Ride”

The responses are starting to come in from pro wrestlers and WWE personalities regarding Sting publicly questioning if anyone is interested in having a “Last Ride” with him in a cryptic tweet that has the wrestling world buzzing.

As noted, Sting posted an interesting “cryptic tweet” teasing a WWE return for a match against The Undertaker on Wednesday evening.

Soon after the conclusion of the AEW FYTER FEST and NXT THE GREAT AMERICAN BASH Night 1 special edition of the Wednesday Night Wars this week, “The Icon” took to his official Twitter feed to re-tweet a post from the “80s Wrestling” feed, which released a photo of Sting in his “surfer look” days sitting on a motorcycle, where the WWE Hall Of Fame legend added the caption, “Who wants to take a “last” ride with Sting?”

While the tweet is an apparent tease to try and generate hype and lure “The Deadman” back to the squared circle, presumably for a “Last Ride” showdown at WrestleMania 37 in 2021, “The Stinger” also received a response from another legendary WWE “big man.”

Fellow WWE Hall Of Fame legend Kevin Nash, formerly known as “Diesel” during his original WWE run in the 1990s, took to his own Twitter page on Wednesday night to reply to the “cryptic tweet” posted by Sting.

“I’m timid but if you don’t mind a little arm wrap I’m in,” Nash quipped. “Just don’t go fast.”

When a fan chimed in, pointing out the fact that Nash is generally not the “timid” type, “Big Daddy Cool” once again put his trademark sense of humor on display.

“We are talking Sting,” wrote Nash.

Also sounding off on Twitter in response to “The Icon” is the currently quarantined WWE broadcast team member recovering from COVID-19 — Renee Young.

Young focused more on the photo in Sting’s re-tweet of the “80s Wrestling” Twitter feed, joking about the bedazzled jacket that “The Icon” was wearing while in his entrance ring gear seated on the motorcycle.

“You still got that jacket,” Young asked. “Would definitely wear it now.”
