Additionally, eWrestling.com reader Simon Walker sent us this recap of the same show:
Opening match sees Bobby Roode defeat Jinder Mahal via roll-up after 10 mins.
Jinder has a rant post-match, only to be interrupted by Bray Wyatt who hits Sister Abigail on Mahal.
Sasha, Bayley and Natalya with win over Riott Squad. Sasha with the Banks Statement on Ruby for the victory. Really fun match with both teams really working the crowd.
Cedric Alexander retains Cruiserweight title with victory over Drew Gulak. High tempo 10 mins match.
B Team hold on to the Raw Tag Titles following victory over Revival and Titus Worldwide in triple threat match. Another fun match with plenty of comedy, including some “flossing”.
Time to Walk with Elias.. Hilarious and fun segment, which involved Lashley encouraging Elias to sing, on the promise he wouldn’t attack him. Cue Elias, Lashley and the entire crowd singing Angels. Ended with Elias surprise attack on Lashley on for Lashley to finish the segment with revenge…
Up next Ambrose and Rollins v McIntyre and Ziggler.
Seth and Dean with the victory over McIntyre and Ziggler with both Shield members hitting their finishers to end the match. High quality match with the heel team doing all they could to cheat their way to a win, without success. Huge pop for the entrance of both Seth and Dean.
Interval time, with 3/4 matches still to come
Balor v Corbin almost a repeat of their match on RAW. Balor wins with roll-up (no Coup de Grace?!?). Corbin not happy, announces it’s a no DQ match and uses chair, followed by a Deep Six for the “win”. Technically the first heel win of the night.
Ronda retained Women’s title against Alexa in a match that lasted around 15 mins. Alexa feigned a knee injury early on, only to turn it into a sneak attack. Ronda certainly didn’t look out of place in that ring and after a fair amount of physicality she won with the arm bar submission. Huge pop for her.
Final match saw Roman and Braun face off for the Universal title. As per RAW, interference from Ziggler and McIntyre resulted in a DQ win for Roman. After a beat down out came Seth and Dean to even things up, eventually resulting in McIntrye receiving a triple power bomb through a table.
Solid show from all.
