A title match originally slated for next month’s WrestleMania 36 pay-per-view appears to be getting a makeover following a recent meeting held behind-the-scenes in WWE.
According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter at F4WOnline.com, the WWE women’s tag team title match set for WrestleMania 36 has changed.
Previous reports determined that The Kabuki Warriors would be defending against Natalya and WWE Hall of Famer Beth Phoenix at the “Show of Shows.” However, it now seems that the tag bout will also feature former tag champions Nikki Cross and Alexa Bliss, officially making it a three-way tag.
Although WWE has yet to officially confirm this, they did plant the seed of a three-way when Bliss called out the Kabuki Warriors on last week’s episode of Friday Night SmackDown.
Expect for that angle to play into WrestleMania in the ensuing weeks.
