WWE Makes Ruling On Women’s Tag Team Title Situation With Liv Morgan Injured

WWE has made a decision on the Women’s Tag Team titles with Liv Morgan on the sidelines indefinitely after undergoing shoulder surgery.

On last night’s episode of WWE Raw in a backstage segment with Raw GM Adam Pearce and Smackdown GM Nick Aldis, Finn Balor suggested that Roxanne Perez be allowed to step up and join Raquel Rodriguez as women’s tag champs in Morgan’s absence. Aldis and Pearce agreed and recognized the duo as the title holders but added a caveat: Rodriguez and Perez would have to defend the titles at Evolution on July 13 against tag teams from all three brands: Raw, Smackdown and NXT in order for Perez to officially become a champion.

Earlier in the show, Judgment Day members Finn Balor and JD McDonagh became World Tag Team champions for a second time by defeating The New Day.
