Show Opening

Are you ready??? We open with a video clip from Last Week: RAW Legends Night. Randy Orton stating he is looking for some old friends. Then walking up to Big Show and telling Show he doesn’t have the guts to reintroduce himself. Next, Orton trash talks Mark Henry who is on a scooter. Finally, The Viper walks up to Ric Flair who said he had so much confidence and he believed in Orton. Orton asks how Flair’s head feels after he punt kicked him. Orton adds, “I see the man before me that looks like Ric Flair, but you are not the man that taught me everything I kow, you are now nothing but a pathetic… old… man.”

Inside The ThunderDome

We are welcomed to Monday Night RAW by the commentary team sitting at ringside as we enter the WWE ThunderDome!

In Ring: COO Triple H Addresses WWE Universe

The Chief Operating Officer, Triple H makes his way to the stage as his entrance theme sounds in the ThunderDome II. “The King of Kings is here…” Tom Phillips states to Byron Saxton and Samoa Joe. Triple H makes his way down the ramp and enters the ring with a microphone in hand. The crowd pops as H’s music cuts. “Triple H! Triple H! Triple H!” as they hold up “X’s” for DX. Triple H states he’s still got it! “Welcome to Monday Night RAW!” As Triple H goes on to state his reason for being here tonight, he’s interrupted!

Randy Orton Interrupts

“Well look who it is… “The Office” decided to show up, because Drew McIntyre couldn’t.” Randy Orton begins. Orton adds that he was supposed to have a big match tonight. Orton says since Triple H got all prettied up and flew down here, he figures Triple H is here to make an official ruling. Orton asks Triple H if he’s going to announce Orton as #30 in the Royal Rumble Match, or is he going to cut the BS and hand Orton the WWE Title. Triple H says if Orton wants the WWE Title he needs to win The Rumble, however he has to.

Orton goes on wondering why Triple H is here, and says he should make sure whatever call he makes benefits Orton. They face off now. Triple H asks if this is what it’s come to between them now, cheap threats and flexing. Triple H talks about watching Orton over the past year or so. He says he was proud of Orton when he dropped the match on “The Fiend” Bray Wyatt because that was all that stood between him and the WWE Title.

Triple H then goes on and says there are a few things he doesn’t understand, like why Orton kicks Legends in the head, like Big Show, or threaten and humiliate them like he’s done with Shawn Michaels, Mark Henry, Ric Flair. Triple H says when Orton did that, it took the pride away and made him look at Orton differently, thinking Orton is not a legend, he’s nothing but a no-good prick. Fans pop.

Orton responds to Triple H by stating H can call him what he wants but the fact is he’s in his prime, at his peak, and he is a legend. Orton wonders if Triple H still has it in him. Is The Cerebral Assassin, The Game, The King of Kings, still in there? Orton says to find that out he needs Triple H to accept a good old fashioned fight.

Orton proposes they go toe-to-toe tonight. He asks Triple H to accept the challenge. Triple H asks Orton if he wants to fight him tonight. They continue to face off. Triple H goes on and says the answer is no, he’s not going to give Orton what he wants and there’s no benefit for him to give Orton what he wants. Triple H goes to leave and Orton wonders if it’s really a case of Triple H not being able to get his balls from Stephanie McMahon’s purse because she’s not here.

Triple H walks back over to Orton and drops him with a right hand, sending him out of the ring as fans pop. Orton says he guesses that means yes. Triple H stares him down from the ring as Orton’s music hits. Orton clutches his jaw and smirks back at Triple H.

They go to shake hands but Miz and Morrison roll up to crow about Miz getting Money in the Bank back. The babyfaces debate which one is Dumb and which one is Dumber briefly.

Triple H is interviewed backstage and asked about the challenge tonight. Triple H says he didn’t come to the ThunderDome to fight but sometimes things change. It seems Randy can’t get it into his head what respect means, and that people like Ric Flair paved the way for him. And now he’s calling him out, to see if he’s still The Game. To see if he’d drop that match. Well the answer is yes, he would. And he accepts his challenge.

*Commercial Break*

Sheamus side-steps Lee and he falls out of the ring, then Sheamus follows-up with a dropkick through the ropes. We see a replay of the end of last week’s RAW, in which Goldberg challenged Drew McIntyre to a Championship at the Royal Rumble. Drew McIntyre will answer the challenge, next!

*Commercial Break*

A replay of last week’s main event WWE Championship match is shown, along with Goldberg’s return and some extended footage of them butting heads. McIntyre appears via video again and he says having the legends watching him defend his title last week was a dream come true. But before he could thank the legends, he was interrupted by Goldberg. One of his favourite wrestlers of all-time. They say you should never meet your heroes and that’s true, Goldberg let him down.

Goldberg came out and tried to put words in Drew’s mouth but the truth is, Goldberg doesn’t know what it means to be WWE Champion. It’s the one title that’s eluded him his whole life. With all that said, he doesn’t want to fight Goldberg. It doesn’t seem fair. Would Goldberg want to face himself in his prime? Well that was all before Goldberg put his hands on him, and now he only has to say, “Goldberg…you’re next.”

Riddle is backstage, waxing lyrical about eating pizza to Lucha House Party. He says it’s just a metaphor for how good it’s going to feel when he beats Bobby Lashley for the United States Title. They wish him luck and tell him to watch his back, and Riddle says that’s physically impossible.

*Commercial Break*

Woods goes up top and hits a missile dropkick that sends T-Bar flying backwards and out of the ring! Woods rallies and hits a dropkick through the ropes, then gets him back inside but Retribution causes a distraction, allowing T-Bar to attack Woods’ shoulder. T-Bar wraps Woods arm around the top rope and yanks it a few times, then gets him in the ring for Feast Your Eyes and the pin.

WINNER: DOMINIK DIJAKOVIC
Randy Orton is interviewed backstage and he says he’s known Triple H for so long, sometimes he knew him better than he knew himself. But things are different now. He hates himself but that’s a hate he has learned to control and direct to other people. People like Triple H.

We’re back live and MVP is having fun beating on Riddle. He’s taking his time kicking him with his nice shoes, but Riddle drops him with a knee. Riddle goes to the apron and kicks Lashley, then hits MVP with the Broton. Lashley rushes in and clobbers Riddle.
