WWE Monday Night RAW LIVE Results – (11/2/20)
Show Opening
We see a recap from last week with Randy Orton and Alexa Bliss in the ring, Orton asking repetitively where The Fiend is. Alexa stressing her enjoyment over Orton and McIntyre “burning the house down”. Finally The Fiend appearing and the signature, “LET ME IN!”
We then head into the show’s intro with the new music and we enter the WWE ThunderDome LIVE at Amway Center as the commentary team welcomes us to tonight’s MONDAY NIGHT RAW!
WWE Champion, Randy Orton Takes The Ring
The Apex Predator himself, RANDY ORTON’S music sounds as our WWE Champion makes his way to the stage. Orton looks around the ThunderDome and then makes his way down the ramp towards the ring with his championship belt draped over his shoulder.
Commentary reiterates, if Randy Orton is still champion when Survivor Series takes place, it will be the WWE Champion Randy Orton vs. WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns at the pay-per-view event! The Best vs. The Best.
Randy Orton stands inside the ring after finishing his entrance, mic in hand. “Eight days ago, I became WWE Champion. Eight days ago, I became a 14 time WORLD Champion,” Orton continues, “Eight days ago I proved I am the best of the best.” Orton says that’s not enough. Orton says he’s better than Edge, Undertaker, Shawn Michaels, Ric Flair, John Cena and especially Drew McIntyre. Orton says he’s better than everyone in the locker room including those who have been there for years. Orton notes that he’s a third generation wrestler that “grew up in the business” and some say he was protected by HHH early in his career…
Orton ends by stating none of that is the reason he’s the champion, he’s the champion because he is the BEST. Orton says he’s more than “The Legend Killer”, he’s now simply, “A Legend.” The crowd boos. He notes that the gold on his shoulder comes with great responsibility, but also with a bulls-eye on his back. He doesn’t care who comes for him… come and get it!
Alexa Bliss Enters
On that note, Alexa Bliss’s music sounds and Alexa makes her way down the ramp waving “Little Rascals” style with her hand under her chin as she smiles at Orton. Alexa enters the ring and smiles big at Orton who then circles her and glances down at her as she continues to giggle and smile. Orton says, “Where is he?” Alexa holds both hands up to her chin innocently, her one hand says “Play” and the other says “Pain”. Alexa then puts down the hand that says, “Play” and her face turns serious. Alexa states, “He. could. be. here.”
The Fiend’s Music Sounds
As Alexa finishes her statement to Randy Orton, the arena turns scarlet red as the piercing sound that is all too familiar to The Fiend begins to play over the speakers of the ThunderDome. Orton looks around worried, waiting for Fiend to appear. Suddenly Drew McIntyre comes up from behind Orton and delivers the Claymore to knock Orton out inside the ring! McIntyre then exits the ring and heads back up the ramp.
Miz and John Morrison Run In
We see The Miz and John Morrison running through the crowd as Randy Orton lays knocked out inside the ring. John Morrison waves a referee down to the ring as The Miz removes his shirt and puts down the Money in the Bank briefcase, Miz apparently going to take advantage of the opportunity and take the championship from Randy Orton.
Suddenly Drew McIntyre re-enters the ring and grabs Morrison, throwing him from the ring. Then Miz is thrown from the ring too. Drew McIntyre says, “Nobody takes the WWE Championship from Orton, but me!” As we head to commercial break, Orton lifts his head and looks up the ramp to see what the heck just happened… Commercials!
Moments Ago
As we return from commercial break, we get a video clip recapping McIntyre delivering the Claymore to Orton, then Miz trying to cash in his MITB contract when McIntyre states nobody gets to go after Orton for the title BUT him.
Backstage – Miz and Morrison
We head backstage where Charly Caruso stops The Miz who is frustrated as he walks through the backstage area. Miz is livid with Drew. “Drew is nothing more than a petty, selfish child. Just because your 19-year dream is over, doesn’t mean you have to go about ruining everyone else’s dreams.”
Morrison adds that Drew has no idea what he did. He and Miz are challenge Drew to a handicap match tonight. Miz then adds “If he has the stones…” as he walks away.
Announcer’s Table
We head to ringside where the commentary team are in discussion. Samoa Joe notes that Drew McIntyre is still the biggest obstacle in Randy Orton’s way, and that Miz and Morrison might eliminate that tonight if he accepts the two on one match The Miz requested. Byron Saxton nods in agreement. Tom Phillips switches things up after saying the MITB contract was never cashed in as the bell never officially rang. Phillips notes Jeff Hardy and Elias have a match up next where one has to hit the other over the head with a guitar in order to win the match.
Jeff Hardy vs Elias (Guitar on a Pole Match)
“Ladies and Gentleman… Elias.” Elias starts off in the ring which is dark, a spotlight hits him as he strums his guitar. Elias begins to play a song for the audience when Jeff Hardy interrupts him. Hardy with poetry in motion off the steps. Hardy back into the ring. He’s inches away from the guitar, but Elias throws a stool at him as we head to commercial break.

Hardy goes low on Elias’ knee right after. Both men are down. Elias with a running knee to Hardy to re-take control. Big knife edge chops. A few reversals, but Elias gets back in control with a running knee. Elias tries to get to the guitar, but Hardy pulls him down.
Vintage Hardy with the double leg drop. He has a clear path to the guitar but Elias gets up at the last second. He goes for an electric chair power bomb but is reversed into a head scissors. Hardy follows up with a twist of fate. He’s inches away from the guitar. Elias tries to get to him but no luck. Hardy jumps from the top rope and smashes the guitar on Elias’ back and pins him for the win. He then smashes the fender into the pole, causing it to break.
