Adam Pearce welcomes us to Monday Night RAW as he is surrounded by the RAW Men’s Team from Survivor Series which was victorious last night in the Traditional 5 on 5 Match. Pearce states the last seven days have been a hell of a ride. Last Monday resulted in a new WWE Champion, Drew McIntyre. Last night, marked the end of an era, the end of The Phenom, The Undertaker.

Pearce then recognizes that Team RAW won with a clean sweep last night, and that deserves a reward. AJ Styles, Sheamus, Keith Lee, Braun Strowman and Matt Riddle smile and nod behind Pearce. Pearce then states each man will give their reason why they think they should be next in line for the WWE Championship! Pearce says, “With that, AJ Styles, as the RAW Team captain…” Sheamus interrupts, stating that Styles is NOT his captain. Sheamus then congratulates Drew McIntyre for his win. Sheamus then states he was the most “valuable team player” during the match last night.

AJ Styles interrupts stating “Most valuable team player? Is that what you said?” Sheamus states obviously Styles heard if he repeated him. Styles says Sheamus is trying to use the good ol’ “Buddy System” and it’s not going to work. Keith Lee interjects and states he secured their victory, and tells Pearce he’s the one most worthy. Riddle says “I think what we all did last night was pretty slick, wait, does that make me King Bro? Do I get a crown?” Riddle then says if he took on Drew McIntyre, he’d get the dope sword to go with his dope crown. Sheamus tells him he’s a dope.

Riddle says, “Don’t worry fire face, after I win the dope sword and the dope crown, I’ll let you hold them bro…” Sheamus responds, “Don’t call me FIRE FACE!” Riddle says “Fire Face” wasn’t his first choice, but “Fire Crotch” was already taken.

Pearce says, “Last, but not least, Braun Strowman, state your case why you should get to face Drew McIntyre for the title.” Strowman asks what he means by “Last” as Pearce tries to explain it’s just an expression. Strowman yolks Pearce up and shouts about who he is and what he’s done for this company as he throws Pearce and the other members of Team RAW try to calm Strowman down. Strowman throws Pearce down as we head to our first commercial break!
