In-Ring – Alexa Bliss

The commentary team is interrupted as The Fiend’s shriek is heard throughout the ThunderDome and we shoot over to the center of the ring where Alexa Bliss stands with a red light shadowing her as she begins speaking into the mic deviously, “Monday Night RAW…. he’s heeeeeerrreee…. hahaha. LET. HIM. IN!” Bliss stares into the camera as all the lights go out inside the arena one section at a time.

The Fiend Joins Alexa Bliss In-Ring

We hear the entrance theme for The Fiend begin over the speakers in the ThunderDome as The Fiend is seen at the top of the stage holding his severed head lantern and strobe lights flash around the arena. Red and white flashing lights glare back and forth across the arena as Bliss stands still, her gaze locked in one direction as The Fiend makes his way down the ramp and stops at the ring, making his way in, standing behind Bliss with his arms extended. Fiend stands behind Bliss inside the ring as his theme continues and the two join hands.

The lights return as RETRIBUTION interrupts. Slapjak, T-Bar, Reckoning, Mase, and Mustafa Ali all surround the ring on all sides of the ring. Fiend and Bliss are unfazed and do not break their stance or glare as Retribution surrounds them on the apron. RETRIBUTION enters the ring at Ali’s signal, all circling The Fiend and Bliss. The lights go out. The lights return and Fiend and Bliss are gone!

The Hurt Business Enters!

The members of The Hurt Business make their way to the stage and quickly head down to the ring where they proceed to throw all the members of Retribution to ringside. Cedric Alexander gets a running start and dives over the top rope, taking out Retribution at ringside as we head to our first commercial break!

Vignette – Matt Riddle

We return from commercial break with a vignette for the Original Bro who is set to enter the ring with AJ Styles later tonight. Riddle explains how his last name fits him well because “he’s a tough dude to figure out”. He’s defeated all over the world and he’s done it all… without wearing shoes! The bro that’s gonna run the show, Matt Riddle!
Back live with a vignette hyping up Matt Riddle, who was drafted to RAW and faces AJ Styles tonight.

RETRIBUTION vs The Hurt Business

We return to the ring, where Bobby Lashley is brawling with T-Bar. He takes him out, then moves onto Mase and Slapjack, who is now the legal man. Flatliner! Slaphack is legal. Lashley with a Stalling Suplex. Cedric is tagged in. He hits a slam for a two and throws Slapjack into the corner. MVP is tagged in, as Slapjack continues to be isolated. He lands some strikes and tags Cedric back in.

Mac and T-Bar walk over to the corner to intimidate Cedric, who’s on the top rope. The distraction is enough, as Slapjack throws Cedric off the top and tags in Mustafa Ali.

Ali targets the left arm of Cedric, and then hits a dropkick to the back of his head. Cedric reverses in the corner, but is crotched trying to go off the top rope. Ali slams Cedric’s head into the barricade on the outside, prompting both teams to jump off the apron and come face to face.

All of a sudden, The Fiend’s music hits again as we head to commercial.

We return from commercial break and commentary notes that the two teams have continued fighting throughout the commercial break. A German Suplex by Shelton Benjamin followed by a Running Knee sends Mase to the canvas. Benjamin goes for the cover, a kick out at two. Mustafa Ali watches on from ringside as his team continue to try to take down The Hurt Business. Lashley takes out all of RETRIBUTION. A Spear to T-Bar who is legal for their team, by Lashley. Mustafa Ali buys enough time for T-Bar to get his hands on Lashley. Lashley gets The Hurt Lock on T-Bar who is forced to tap!

Winner By Submission: The Hurt Business

After The Match

Before any celebration can be had, the lights immediately go black. The lights return and The Fiend is standing on the apron next to Mustafa Ali who he sends flying off the apron. The Fiend hits Sister Abigail, slamming RETRIBUTION members into the announcer’s table, The Fiend chases Ali into the ring and gets in position for Sister Abigail when T-Bar breaks the hold and goes for a Chokeslam on Fiend who retaliates with a Mandible Claw that switches into Sister Abigail! Fiend wipes out RETRIBUTION.

The Hurt Business members stand shoulder to shoulder at the bottom of the ramp and stare into the ring at The Fiend who stares back. Alexa Bliss appears on the ‘tron above the stage as the words (in Fiend’s voice) escape Bliss’s lips, “LET ME IN!” and we head to commercial break once more.

In Ring – AJ Styles

We return from commercial break as we hear the familiar entrance theme of none other than The Phenomenal AJ Styles! Styles makes his way to the ring with a new… friend. Styles’s friend is larger than life looking to be about 8 feet tall compared to Styles. The two enter the ring and Styles begins speaking gloatingly into the mic. “I beat Jeff Hardy, I beat Seth Rollins, in a triple threat match last week to prove… this was never Monday Night Rollins.” Styles says when he beats Riddle tonight, it’ll mean more than the Season Premiere of RAW, it’s a new era, that belongs to the FACE that runs the place. A… J….”

Matt Riddle Interrupts

“The Original Bro” Matt Riddle who is the “Bro that runs the show” interrupts before Styles can finish his sentence. Riddle makes a massive entrance as his flip flops fly through the air as the pyro goes off behind him. Riddle lands in a pose in front of Styles and “The Big Guy”.

The referee tells Big Guy to leave the ring. Styles laughs at the demand, stating his friend isn’t going anywhere. “If he doesn’t leave the ring before the count of five, he’s disqualified” The referee begins the count… “1…. 2…” The referee looks to Styles umm, “large friend” and asks politely for him to leave the ring, now pleading with his hands in a praying motion. The larger than life friend exits over the top rope Gut Wrench Suplex and right back into yet another Gut Wrench Suplex. Matt Riddle sends Styles flying to the outside of the ring.

Riddle jumps over the top rope and lands on the apron and goes for a Kick on the apron as Big Guy steps in the way blocking Styles who is backed up on the steel stairs with wide eyes. Riddle just as quickly rolls back under the bottom rope and sits up with an equally wide eyed stare at the Big Guy as we head to commercial break.

We return from commercial break and Styles is now in control of this match. Styles “friend” clearly helped. Styles hit a Gut Buster on Riddle inside the ring which we see picture in picture replay from during the commercial break. Riddle with a Kick to the face of Styles inside the ring. Riddle is out of breath as both Superstars make their way back to their feet. Belly to Back Suplex by Riddle. Riddle looks for a Standing Moonsault following with a Broton, Styles counters by kicking Riddle across the ring. Riddle looks like he’s been knocked out! The referee checks on Riddle.

Pay-lay by Riddle, Knee to the back of the neck of Riddle by Styles for a two count. Both men are laid out in the center of the ring! Both struggle back to their feet. Styles looks for the Styles Clash, Riddle counters and locks the Fishermans Suplex and locks in the cover by wrapping his leg around Styles. Styles is able to kick out. Riddle looks for the Floating Bro, Styles jumps up and levels Riddle who catches himself from falling all the way. Riddle and Styles both make their way to the top rope. Riddle knocks Styles back into the ring. Riddle and Styles both on the top, both fall off to top turnbuckle. Styles falls into the ring, Riddle falls out to ringside.

Big Guy turns the corner of the ring and is standing at Riddle’s feet as he makes his way back to his feet. Riddle looks nervous once again as the referee gets to the count of six. Riddle rushes back into the ring but the distraction cost him as Styles is waiting on him! Styles hits the Styles Clash as Riddle re-enters the ring for the three count pin and win!

Winner: AJ Styles

Ringside Commentary

We head to the announcer’s table where Tom Phillips discusses Randy Orton’s appearance later tonight on the Season Two Premiere of WWE Monday Night RAW. We are reminded that later tonight we will get a message from The Viper who will deliver his message directly “from hell”. Phillips then sends us into a video package highlighting the events leading up to the Hell in a Cell pay-per-view match between Randy Orton and Drew McIntyre.

Video Clip – The Lead Up To Hell In A Cell McIntyre vs. Orton

“I didn’t leave Clash of Champions with the WWE Championship… instead, I left in an ambulance….” Orton begins. We then get a clip by clip reminder of the events that took place during the match and what followed thereafter.

Quick Announcement

We are reminded that this is the first time in his career that Drew McIntyre will defend his title at Hell in a Cell. It is also announced that McIntyre too, has a message to deliver before this weekend’s Hell in a Cell pay-per-view where McIntyre will enter the cell with The Viper, Randy Orton. We then head to commercial break.

Charly Caruso welcomes us back to the Season Two Premiere of WWE Monday Night RAW as we return from commercial break. Caruso then introduces the WWE Champion, Drew McIntyre. Caruso asks McIntyre how crucial it is that Randy Orton is a veteran of the Hell in a Cell match while McIntyre has never yet been in a HIAC match to date. Caruso asks how important of a role that’ll play.

McIntyre asks politely to take over the mic so he can speak directly to Orton. Caruso hands over the mic and steps out of the shot. McIntyre begins, Ya know Randy, for this past few months…” McIntyre continues on to state that since he met Orton at age 20, it’s been obvious that Orton is the most “evil, sadistic, selfish and entitled individual in WWE.” Drew gives credit to Orton, stating he’s intelligent. McIntyre then states that after he beat Orton at last month’s PPV, it should’ve been the end of the feud, but Orton took out McIntyre’s mentors, knowing that he has a temper problem and would accept a challenge at Hell in a Cell.

McIntyre then puts over the Hell in a Cell match. He says Orton thrives in that environment and against anyone else it would give him a massive advantage, but McIntyre isn’t like any other superstar. He says this Sunday there will be no honor or respect, because Orton doesn’t deserve any. “I will go through hell and I will put you through hell to remain WWE Champion. McIntyre also teases that he “might show up” during Orton’s interview later tonight.

The referee signals for the bell. The bell rings, and this championship match is officially underway! Quick pace early. Both women off the ropes. Lana goes for a roll-up but is reversed into the Asuka lock. Lana gets to the ropes.

After a Dive at Brooke goes awry, Jax goes shoulder first into the corner. Rose tags in and lands a pump knee. Brooke tags in and hits a senton for two. Things break down again as Morgan and Jax are now legal. Morgan hits a drop kick as Evans tags in. It’s Evans and Morgan now. Double Knees by Liv, followed by The Riott Kick by Ruby inside the ring! This looks like the finish when suddenly Shayna drags Ruby out to ringside and locks in the Karifuda Clutch. Nia Jax then makes a beeline for Lacey Evans as Jax hits the Samoan Drop on Evans for the three count pin and win.

Winners: Shayna Baszler and Nia Jax

Announcer’s Table (Kinda)

Tom Phillips all sit in their chairs at the (former) announcer’s table… that is now in pieces surrounding them (after Nia Jax hit a Samoan Drop on Lana for the FIFTH time!) as Phillips sends us into a clip from -5 months ago- where Jeff Hardy was arrested for a hit and run that injured Elias. We then switch to a clip from -Last Monday- where Elias hits Hardy with his guitar which led to AJ Styles win during their match. We then see Elias -backstage- with his band as he prepares to perform when we return from commercial break!

Ladies and Gentleman…. Elias (In Concert)

As we return from commercial break, Elias is set up with his band on the stage as he states his album drops next week. He then says he knows what everyone has been dying for… a concert. They begin to play as Elias sings.

The song ends and Elias looks ecstatic. “Universal Truth” available one week from today on Apple Music and Spotify. The crowd pops for Elias. “I hear ya, you guys want an encore. Elias isn’t one to disapoint, so I’m gonna do another song from my album that drops next week, brother, hand me my guitar.” Suddenly someone in a hoody, shreds on the electric guitar, “Hey big shot, I don’t know who you think you are but hand it over, this is MY concert”.

Hardy then swings the guitar at Elias who barely ducks it as Hardy shouts, “I didn’t hit you with that car man!” Hardy’s music plays.

Backstage – Miz and Morrison

Morrison begins by stating he can’t believe Lars Sullivan attacked him on their show. Miz says this is about HIM, he saved Mandy by getting her away from Otis. Miz then states that he’s going to win his court case and save the MITB contract.

Tucker walks up and says they are trying to ruin his boy Otis’s life for their personal gain. How they had Tucker drafted to RAW. How they had Mandy taken to an opposing roster. And now drain Otis’s bank account with the court case. Tucker says he will find a partner and he will ruin their lives tonight.

1. I am NOT going to ruin Otis’s life, I’m trying to restore dignity to the MITB contract (Morrison tries to hype every other word until Miz stops him). Miz then laughs at the thought of Tucker finding a tag-team partner. They walk off laughing, leaving Tucker standing confused.

Kofi Kingston vs. Sheamus

The RAW Tag-Team Champions Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods head out as the sounds of “It’s a NEW DAY!” and their entrance theme sounds in the ThunderDome! Kingston makes his way to the ring accompanied by his tag-team partner as Kingston has a one on one match with Sheamus when we return from commercial break!

“Wow, for the first time in nearly four years your boys are the W… W… E… RAW… Tag…. Team…. CHAMPIONS!” Xavier Woods is upset by 2019 and 2020 and how much things have changed recently. The New Day being split across brands after an injury had him on medical leave.

Sheamus Comes Out

The Celtic Warrior has heard enough! Sheamus makes his way to the stage with a mic in hand. He says he’s glad they stopped crying finally, it was embarassing. He reiterates that it’s been four years since the New Day have been on RAW. With Big E on SmackDown, “both of you muppets will end up on the wrong end of a brogue kick.”

Kofi says The New Day will keep holding it down on both brands, and will spread their “seed of positivity” all over the WWE Universe. Sheamus says that the New Day is divided. “Divided you will fall.”

Woods reminds Sheamus that Big E gave him a “big fall” off the hood of a car. Kofi jokes about how ashy Sheamus is. Woods invites Sheamus to come to the ring to get a beating from another member of the New Day. Sheamus obliges.

Match Begins! Sheamus with a shoulder tackle. He goes off the ropes and gets hit with a dropkick for a two. Both men land heavy strikes. Irish whip to Kingston reversed. Multiple reversals now as Sheamus gets taken over the top.

Kofi goes for a high flying maneuver over the top, unfortuntely Sheamus catches him and throws him back-first onto the apron as we head to commercial break!

As we return from commercial break, Kofi hits a Jawbreaker on Sheamus. We get a picture in picture replay of the catch by Sheamus right before commercial break where Sheamus threw Kingston back-first into the apron. Back in the ring, a blow to the gut of Kingston drops him to a knee. Sheamus with a Belly to Back Suplex on Kingston for the cover. Kingston kicks out. Sheamus kicks out!

Both men back to their feet, looking spent. Sheamus with a hand full of tights, gets a two count!. Reverse Back Breaker for the cover on Sheamus! Kingston gets another cover on Sheamus for the three count pin and win!!

Winner: Kofi Kingston!

After the Match

Mark Henry and Big E celebrate from their virtual seats in the crowd along with Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods after the match as we head into replays! A “New! Day ROCKS” chant begins in the crowd!

Video Clip – Earlier Tonight, Lashley beating RETRIBUTION

After the match The Fiend appeared and took out all of RETRIBUTION inside the ring and out single-handedly. The Ali tried to escape, and T-Bar sacrificed himself and ultimate received the Mandible Claw inside the ring that turned into Sister Abigail.

Mustafa Ali states, “Earlier tonight, The Fiend and The Hurt Business made a mistake tonight thinking his only power is in numbers. “My power, is creating chaos and you have no idea how much chaos I can create. All I need is a cell phone, a laptop… a secret. And with one click, I can make anyone’s world come crumbling down. I’ve learned to embrace that power. Over this last year while I was sitting at home because this corrupt company couldn’t figure out how to make a buck off of someone named Mustafa Ali, I wasn’t just watching the show. I was watching each and everyone of these spineless superstars as they plotted and they backstabbed just to get ahead. And I learned all of your pathetic secrets.

I mean I guess at this point I should just confess. That mysterious hacker over on SmackDown, yea, that was me. And I did it, because I want the entire world to know, that this sick place is infecting everyone with greed and corruption. Because of that, good and talented individuals are being forgotten. Their dreams are left to DIE. But I found them. I united them. And I promised them, that their truth WILL be heard. So anyone, whether it be The Fiend or The Hurt Business or ANYONE on Monday Night RAW. If you TRY to stop the truth from being heard… We, will shut you down!.” With that, we head to commercial break.

The Miz & John Morrison vs. Tucker & Mystery Partner

The entrance theme for The Miz and John Morrison sound as both superstars head to the ring for their match against Tucker and a mystery partner after the commercial break.

Backstage – The Hurt Business

We return live backstage after the commercial break and The Hurt Business is in discussion as Titus O’Neil walks up. O’Neil states he’d be a hell of an addition to the group, saying he could take them “worldwide.” MVP listens intently, then states they have to discuss it. Two seconds later they return, O’Neil says that was quick. MVP responds “they’re in business” as O’Neil looks excited and tells them they won’t regret it. MVP stops him and repeats “we’re in business” as it turns out to be a ploy as The Hurt Business attack Titus!
The Miz & John Morrison vs. Tucker & Mystery Partner

We then return to the ring where The Miz tells Tucker to bring out his partner. Tucker enters, he says he scoured the globe to find one of the world’s “premier luchadors. It’s El Grand Gordo,” (also known as Otis under a mask).

The Miz and Morrison clearly know that it’s Otis, who is holding the money in the bank lunchbox. Miz says Otis doesn’t deserve to hold the Money in the Bank contract, because he’s not the right material. “You spit on everyone who’s ever held the money in the bank contract. That contract changed my career, and you are wasting it.”

The Miz says Otis is a joke. He notes how he’s been with the company for 15 years, beating all forms of competition.. He explains that Otis is an underdog, and that when people call him that, it’s code for feeling sorry for him. The Miz says that court case will go in his favor because he knows how to work the system. He concludes by saying that he will return prestige to the money in the bank briefcase, and a mask on a pig… is still a pig.

Tucker and Otis crash the ring and send Miz and Morrison to the outside! We head to commercial break!

Otis (El Grand Gordo) & Tucker vs Miz and Morrison

Bell rings and the match begins! Tucker takes momentum early, but Morrison regains momentum with a kick. Double team in the corner to Tucker followed by a tandem gut buster. Miz is now the legal man. Quick tag back to Morrison as both men land kicks. Big crossbody gets Tucker a two count. John kicks him into the corner, chokes him over the ropes, Miz with a cheap shot and then the tag. Double-team Gutbuster, tag back, working him over with Kicks, Standing Shooting Star Press from Morrison.

Cravate knees, Tucky clubs him back, double throat thrust puts Knight on his back and Morrison keeps the pressure up with a cross armbar attempt. Shifting gears, Japanese stranglehold applied, Tucker to his feet, tag from Miz. Knight kicks him away and tags Gordo in! Off the ropes, lariats, fired up, pop-up drop to Morrison!

Clothesline sends John to the floor, boot up on the charge to the A-Lister, Gran with a lucha arm drag and a Cartwheelo! Scoopo and a slamo, Morrison breaks it up but Tucker runs in to slam him! Miz with a boot, Gordo in his sights, and R-Truth comes running through with the 24/7 Championship! Drew Gulak and Akira Tozawa give chase, Gordo with a lariato followed by EL CATERPILLAR! Finally Gordo hits an El Vader Bombo for the uno, dos, tres and el win!

Winner: Tucker & El Grand Gordo!

After the Match

Lucha Libre music plays and El Grand Gordo begins dancing to the music of his people!

The show ends.

Braun Strowman vs. Keith Lee

We return to the arena where Braun Strowman makes his way to the ring as his theme sounds in the ThunderDome. Strowman quickly makes his way to the ring and circles the ring as we are informed he goes head to head with Keith Lee when we return from commercial break.

As we return from commercial break, Braun is waiting inside the ring as Keith Lee’s music sounds and Lee makes his way down the ramp toward the ring. We see a clip from 2 weeks ago where Lee and Strowman went head to head in a non-official match up. We return to the ring and the referee signals for the bell, the bell rings and the match begins!

The pair lock up. Strowman takes control with big bombs in the corner. Lee gets taken over the top. Strowman goes for a running tackle on the outside, which drives Lee into the apron. Both men are back in the ring now. Strowman goes for a power slam, but can’t finish it off due to the injured ribs suffered on Friday at the hands of Roman Reigns. Interesting.

After the Match

Lee is livid. He kicks Strowman in the nuts, saying “monster, feed the dragon. You have tangled with the wrong man.” We head to commercial break.

In The Cell – Randy Orton

We return from commercial break, We see Randy Orton lock himself in the Hell in a Cell cage as he enters the ring with a mic in one hand and a steel chair in the other. Orton looks down at the chair and begins speaking into the mic. “I ask that the cell be lowered. “I wanted to come out here to reflect, I wanted to come out here and… remembered.” Orton begins talking about how he’s heard anyone that has had a match in Hell in a Cell, they have left a piece of themselves behind. Orton says for him, that is not the case, he has learned from each of his SEVEN times in the Hell in a Cell matches. Orton remembers being in there with the Celtic Warrior. Orton remembered beating Daniel Bryan “here”. Orton remembers beating Cena, TWICE. Orton remembers a lot about the matches, even though McIntyre says he’s never “earned” anything in his life. Orton says he remembers earning The Dead Man’s respect, right there, in the cell.

Orton says if they aren’t Hall of Fame Legends yet, they most likely will be. The word “legend” gets thrown around these days. Orton says it’s a “Legendary Moment” when McIntyre beat Brock Lesnar.

McIntyre Interrupts

McIntyre’s music sounds as Drew McIntyre makes his way down the ramp. Orton looks cocky as he looks at the lock, feeling like he’s safe inside the cage, with McIntyre stuck on the outside. Orton says, “You want me? Come get me.” McIntyre responds, “Come get you?” with a smile as he heads over to the barricade.
