WWE MONDAY NIGHT RAW RESULTS (2/1/2021)
Show Opening
Drew McIntyre is announced to the ring to kick off tonight’s WWE Monday Night RAW as we see still-frame pictures from the Drew McIntyre vs. Bill Goldberg match from last night’s WWE Royal Rumble 2021 and commentary gives a quick run down of how the match went with McIntyre kicking out of the Jack Hammer and then hitting the Claymore for the three count pin and win. Goldberg then raising McIntyre’s hand in victory!
In-Ring – WWE Champion Drew McIntyre
“Welcome everybody to WWE Monday Night RAW!” McIntyre begins, adding that we’re taking it up a notch tonight as we are officially on the road to Wrestlemania!! McIntyre says he earned Goldberg’s respect last night, and Goldberg earned McIntyre’s as well. McIntyre then breaks down last night’s matches as well as Bianca Belair winning the Women’s Royal Rumble 2021.
McIntyre notes he had his eye on the Men’s Royal Rumble 2021… where he is interrupted by Edge’s entrance theme. Edge makes his way down the ramp! “I was literally, about to get to you. If I can think of anybody, where do I begin? Ever since I came to America, on the road to WWE, I was always around you. You have been a mentor to me.” McIntyre then goes on to share he remembers when Edge had to retire, and how terrible it was.
McIntyre continues that he remembers when Edge came back, and how he felt. AJ Styles had his foot in McIntyre’s throat in the Rumble and he heard, “You think you know me?” and there was Edge. McIntyre then shares how it’s “blown his mind” to watch Edge come back, and then coming into the Royal Rumble as #1, and winning. McIntyre states he is proud and happy for Edge.
Edge begins, “I appreciate the compliments, I really do. And Drew, I really like you, and I have been a mentor to you. So I have to be blunt with you. What is wrong with you? I won the Royal Rumble last night. That means I can challenge you for that championship at Wrestlemania.” Edge says he is a viable threat, but instead McIntyre showers him with compliments. McIntyre says that’s what an opportunist would do, but that’s not what kind of champion Drew McIntyre is.
Sheamus Interrupts
“Look at this, look at this… the Rated R Superstar with the big win last night big fella…” Sheamus begins. Sheamus then says he is NOT happy for Edge, who is he to judge McIntyre. McIntyre who has carried this company through uncharted waters. “He may want to take the high road on this, but I sure as hell don’t” Sheamus ends. McIntyre stops Sheamus as he has his vest off. Edge states, “Listen, you’ll know when I make my decision, whoever I choose, I’m walking out of Wrestlemania, as a champion.” Edge exits the ring on that note.
Drew McIntyre shows his belt to Edge who makes his way up the ramp. As McIntyre turns to his best friend, Sheamus delivers a Brogue Kick before exiting the ring. Sheamus then leaves the ring and heads up the ramp, putting his hat back on at the top of the ramp to stare down McIntyre who is holding his jaw, looking saddened laying in the ring as we head to our first commercial break of the evening!

Sheamus grabs his bags from Drew Gulak, who is standing nearby, and then walks off as a confused Caruso looks on.

Both men head into the ring and begin their banter to kick off tonight’s “show”. They talk about the Royal Rumble, but the best performance goes to Bad Bunny. They put Bad Bunny over and introduce him to the ring.
Bad Bunny Joins
After being introduced, Bad Bunny makes his way down to the ring and grabs a pink microphone (convenient!). Miz calls him “Mr. Bunny” and thanks him for being here. Miz wants to clear the air on any misunderstanding they have from last night.
Video Clip
We are shown a video clip of Bad Bunny’s performance from last night’s Royal Rumble. (Bad Bunny performed his song “Booker T” before being asked by Miz and Morrison to make a song about them. Bad Bunny turned them down. Later on, Miz destroyed Bad Bunny’s DJ stand, leading to Bad Bunny coming out to confront him and Morrison. Damian Priest eliminated Miz and Morrison from the Royal Rumble. Bad Bunny then hit them with a cross-body block to the floor.)
As we return to MIZ TV after the video clip, Miz starts the conversation as he says they did things they probably both regret last night. Two wrongs don’t make a right. Miz apologizes from the deepest part of his heart. Bad Bunny accepts his apology. Miz asks if there’s anything Bad Bunny wants to say to them. Bad Bunny has nothing to say. Morrison says Bad Bunny cost them their shot at WrestleMania. Miz says he heard from a little birdie that Bad Bunny wants to be a WWE Superstar. Bad Bunny says it is one of his dreams.
Miz says many superstars under his learning tree have had successful careers. Take Daniel Bryan: he made an average looking B+ play and made him a beloved international superstar and a WrestleMania main eventer. Imagine what they could do for Bad Bunny’s career. They could teach him how to be a WWE Superstar. All they ask in return is a favor in helping them record an album. They’ll get Grammys while Bad Bunny will get a Slammy. Morrison makes up a song and Miz joins in. Bad Bunny looks like he’s going to be sick.
Bad Bunny says they are… special, but he’s not interested. Miz isn’t happy. First he doesn’t apologize and now he’s not interested. Bad Bunny isn’t talking to Shakira or J’Lo. He’s talking to Miz and Morrison in their ring and their show. Bad Bunny tells them to relax. The only reason he came here is because a good friend wanted to be on Miz TV.

Edge vs. Randy Orton rivalry is renewed tonight on RAW, but first, commercial break!
Backstage – Edge
We head backstage where Edge begins as he says he’s ecstatic because he won the Royal Rumble, but on the other hand there is always this… “black cloud” that hangs over his head, and his family’s head. It’s Randy Orton. Last night in the Royal Rumble, Orton had the chance to go bell-to-bell just like he did, but he didn’t. Orton pretended to have a knee injury and came in at the end, but Edge beat him. Edge went bell-to-bell.
Orton needs to stop talking about loving his family. Edge is beat up, but he’ll take this match. Tonight, he’ll put Orton in the rear view. Edge has to get his family out of the black cloud so he can walk into the main event of WrestleMania to take back a championship he never lost. Tonight, he’ll get closure for him and his little girls for not being able to piggyback them or put them to bed. Tonight, this ends. Edge looks psychotic.
