WWE Monday Night Raw Viewership Soars to Highest Level Since Before Pandemic

— Last night’s WWE Monday Night Raw viewership was up huge in overnight figures released by ShowBuzzDaily, generating an average of 2.230 million viewers. This would make yesterday’s episode the most watched Raw in almost two-and-a-half years, before the pandemic began. In the 18-49 demographic, Raw scored a 0.61 rating, its best mark since the night after WrestleMania, and that easily put it atop the cable charts for the night.

— A combination of factors likely propelled Raw to the monstrous figure, including the show being the night after SummerSlam, continued interest in how Raw will be like under HHH’s leadership as well as the fact that the WWE product in general has showed significant bounce back appeal with many recent live events out-producing expected ticket sales. Raw also went commercial free for the first hour and the hourly figures (below) certainly show that helped. The strong showing by Raw is even more impressive considering that cable viewership has dipped quite a bit this summer. The biggest increases promisingly came with teenagers, with that demo up 57% week-over-week.
