WWE & ESPN+ Negotiating To Bring WWE Pay-Per-Views To O.T.T. Service

WWE Negotiating To Move Their PPVs To ESPN+, WWE Japan Performance Center In The Works

Talks are currently ongoing between WWE and ESPN+ to establish a working relationship between the two companies.

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter at F4WOnline.com notes that there have been discussions between WWE and ESPN that would bring WWE content to ESPN+.

The belief is that WWE is trying to broker a deal that would be see them sell the rights to their PPVs to the streaming service that would ultimately allow the company to generate more revenue than they would if they tried to sell the content directly to customers through the WWE Network.

It is believed that the UFC model with ESPN+ is what “opened their eyes.”

In other behind-the-scenes news from the world of WWE, the company is expected to announce a new WWE Performance Center in Japan within the next few months, perhaps around summer time.

We will keep you posted here at eWrestling.com as updates surface regarding a WWE/ESPN+ deal and the new WWE Japan Performance Center!
