A second match is official for next month’s WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event.
On last night’s episode of WWE Raw, it was announced that LA Knight will take on Seth Rollins at the event following a physical confrontation the two had on Monday. Knight has been after Rollins ever since Seth cost him a chance at winning the briefcase at WWE Money in the Bank earlier in June.
In a segment with Gunther, Rollins indicated that he was eyeing both the WWE Undisputed and the World Heavyweight titles which didn’t sit well with CM Punk, angry that Rollins was the reason he lost the WWE title match at Night of Champions. As Rollins was trying to run off, LA Knight emerged and the two brawled. In a backstage segment later, Punk said he was looking to go after Rollins and all of his friends. He spotted Knight and told him to get to the back of the line but Knight then revealed that he’s wrestling Rollins at Saturday Night’s Main Event.
The only other match official for Saturday Night’s Main Event is Gunther taking on Bill Goldberg, in what is being promoted as Goldberg’s final match.
