Asuka, one of WWE’s most decorated female stars, hasn’t wrestled for the promotion since May. In her last appearance, her future in WWE was put into question in an emotional segment where she seemed to suggest that she was leaving the company.

In the weeks after, it was reported that Asuka was still with WWE but was taking some sort of hiatus and she later commented on her status noting that her appearances for WWE would be sporadic and likely very rare but promising fans that she could pop up at any time. It was further noted that Asuka was likely headed back to Japan for family reasons.

In a new update, a fan – responding to a graphic that suggested that Asuka was done with WWE – asked for clarification on X on whether Asuka had exited WWE or was still on a break.

The multi-time WWE champion wrestler then responded to the fan confirming that she hasn’t left the company or quit.
