After we heard from WWE Women’s Champion Tiffany Stratton on her much talked back-and-forth segment with Charlotte Flair that went off script, Flair has now spoken out posting a comment on X indicating that she was “blindsided by my personal trauma on live television” before taking a shot at the fans in Chicago who of course booed her mercilessly.

As noted in separate reports, Flair and Stratton took the segment to a whole new personal level, deviating from the planned script and ultimately leading to both performers receiving backstage heat for their actions.

After being blindsided by my personal trauma on live television, my character said something on-air that was not true, and I'd like to take this opportunity to clear the air.

I should have NEVER called the Chicago fans smart. I sincerely apologize.
