WWE News: Details On How Much Las Vegas Is Paying To Get WrestleMania 42

According to LV Sports Biz, the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority (LVCVA) is expected to approve a $6 million payout to WWE for WrestleMania 42, which is scheduled to take place next April. The decision is set to be finalized during the next board meeting on Wednesday, November 12th.

The report also noted that LVCVA CEO Steve Hill is a big fan of WrestleMania and has highlighted the benefits of hosting this marquee event in previous meetings.

WWE will return to Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada, for the second consecutive year to host WrestleMania next April. This marks the first time since 1989 that WrestleMania will take place in the same city for two years in a row. The company is planning a variety of events for WrestleMania weekend, including SmackDown, NXT Stand & Deliver, and the Hall of Fame ceremony.

It’s important to mention that WrestleMania 42 was originally slated to occur at the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans, Louisiana, on April 11 and 12, 2026. However, WWE later announced that it would be held at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas a week later, on April 18 and 19. New Orleans will now host the 2026 edition of the Money in the Bank Premium Live Event on September 6.
