Kairi Sane has revealed that she’s currently sidelined due to an arm injury.
The Damage CTRL member shared the news on Instagram, posting a photo of her arm in a cast while appearing to be in a hospital setting.
“Soon, I’ll have an arm of iron…” she wrote in the caption, showing optimism despite the setback.
Sane’s last in-ring appearance was on the December 2 edition of Raw, where she and IYO SKY were defeated by Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez. Originally, Sane was scheduled to compete in the Women’s Intercontinental Championship tournament, but she was written out of the competition after being attacked by members of the Pure Fusion Collective. SKY stepped in for her, advancing to the semifinals before being eliminated. Meanwhile, Dakota Kai has made it to the finals and will face Lyra Valkyria on January 13, 2025, on Raw to crown the inaugural champion.
This marks another chapter in a difficult year for Damage CTRL, who have faced a series of injuries in 2024. Asuka has been out for most of the year with a knee injury, and Kai, who recently made her return to action, was recovering from a torn meniscus that kept her sidelined since August.
