It seems that there was a controversial incident involving WWE superstar Matt Riddle and law enforcement officers at JFK Airport on Sunday. Riddle initially posted on Instagram, claiming that he had been sexually assaulted by a male officer and describing his discomfort during the encounter. However, he has since deleted the post.
“Nothing like being sexually assaulted by an officer and harassed at the jfk airport, no means no and just because I’m nice doesn’t mean yes!!! Asshole!!! Don’t know they’re Twitter or instagram handles but I took pictures, normally I’m like whatever but today was really weird and uncomfortable and they made a point to make me feel small and useless. Definitely one of the most uncomfortable travel days I’ve ever had thanks NYC you’re so progressing and accepting!”
According to TMZ, law enforcement sources stated that Port Authority officers received a call about a disorderly person as Riddle was disembarking from a plane at JFK Airport. The police spoke to witnesses and Riddle himself, who reportedly appeared apologetic. As a result, no police report was filed, and everyone involved was allowed to leave without further incident. The Port Authority was surprised by Riddle’s accusations, as they claim that there was no evidence to support his allegations. Nonetheless, they are taking his statement seriously and have initiated an investigation.
Riddle later posted on Instagram again, expressing his desire never to return to JFK Airport.
It’s important to note that investigations may reveal additional details about the incident, and it’s essential to wait for official information before drawing conclusions.
