— The injuries Montez Ford suffered that WWE noted as taking place in his match against Otis were actually for storyline purposes. Ford, however, did undergo a legitimate surgery on June 24 but it was purely voluntary and not related to an injury. As a result, it is not expected to keep him sidelined for any significant period of time.

— WWE appears to be considering splitting up Karrion Kross and Scarlett when they move up to either Raw or Smackdown as Kross wrestled Shelton Benjamin and Scarlett was not there to accompany him as she was the previous week. As per the Observer Newsletter, the plan for Kross might be to introduce him on either of the main rosters later this summer in the annual draft and he was called up the last two weeks to wrestle before Raw to give the writers a chance to see him and start coming up with ideas for his character and potential storylines.

— All of the ladies who have accompanied Bobby Lashley were Tampa area women which was likely because WWE has been running their TV shows out of that city. When the company moves to touring again, they could hit up local agencies for “extras” as they used to do for The Godfather character. The Observer reports that the “short buffed” woman who has been alongside Lashley though is “extremely interested” in working for WWE long term and has made the company aware of her intentions.
