As reported earlier this week, former AEW star Miro (known within WWE as Rusev) was spotted at WWE Headquarters in Stamford on Wednesday. PWInsiderelite.com reports that he was there to have meetings with various officials in preparation for a return to the promotion. Rusev also participated in a photo shoot and spent “pretty much the entire day” at the HQs.

The internal hope is that JD McDonagh, who has been sidelined since January with broken ribs and a punctured lung, is expected to return to the ring soon. The same can also be said of Kairi Sane, out with an arm injury, who is also close to being cleared for action.
