Below are news and notes coming out of tonight’s WWE Backlash:
— WWE made a number of adjustments to Backlash this afternoon, changing up the order of matches that was on the original run sheet.
— Jeff Cobb made his WWE debut, allying with Jacob Fatu. He has actually been signed to WWE for months being listed on the internal roster on the WWE Smackdown brand.
— WWE announced “Night of Champions” to be held on June 28 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. It will be the only premium live event in Saudi Arabia this year but Royal Rumble and other events are on the docket for 2026.
