WWE News: NXT Wrestler Reveals He Has Abruptly Quit Company Effective Today

NXT wrestler Edris Enofe has announced his departure from WWE.

Posting to social media earlier today, Enofe posted a farewell suggesting that his departure was by choice and not a release:

“As of today, I will officially be leaving the WWE. This is a decision that I thought about for a very long time and I’m going to trust my gut on this.”

“With that being said, for the past four years I had the chance and the opportunity to meet and work with incredible people, from the wrestlers to the referees, to the creative team, to the medical staff, and of course, to all the coaches who put in so much time and effort into making me better. And for that, I will always, always appreciate y’all.”

“And of course, to all the fans who have supported me and stuck by my side through all these years, thank you.”

Enofe ends a four-year stint with WWE, joining the promotion after SummerSlam in 2021. He last wrestled at an NXT house show at the end of July in a losing effort to Lince Dorado. WWE had also been using him on the Evolve brand. Enofe formed a tag team in the past with Malik Blade, but Blade has been sidelined with a knee injury suffered almost exactly a year ago.
