WWE RAW commentator and NFL veteran Pat McAfee has been absent from WWE TV for the past three weeks, where he typically calls the action on the red brand. McAfee addressed his absence in an episode of The Pat McAfee Show, where he discussed various topics, including the reasons he has not appeared on television recently.
This is what Pat McAfee said, “I will not be commentating. Continuing to catch up on life as a whole. Post-Money in the Bank, Pre-Night of Champions. Feels like a good time. I was getting pretty exhausted there. Shoutout to everybody in WWE looking out for me, too. Very thankful.”
There are no confirmed updates on whether McAfee will return next week, despite comments suggesting he might. Wade Barrett filled in for McAfee three weeks ago, while Corey Graves has taken over for the last two weeks.
