WWE News: President Nick Khan Reveals Plans To Hold Major Show In India In 2026 or 2027

Nick Khan discusses the potential of WWE hosting a major event in India.

While WWE has hosted several events in India over the years, they have yet to hold a Premium Live Event or TV show in the country, despite WWE being the second most-watched sporting content after cricket there. However, that could soon change in the coming years.

In a recent interview with The Hindustan Times, WWE President Nick Khan spoke about the possibility of bringing a flagship show to India. He shared that WWE is actively working towards this goal and is targeting the near future.

“We’re planning for 2026 and 2027 right now. In one of our initial meetings with Netflix after signing our deal, they handed us a list of their priority countries—India was at the top. With the upcoming race event on April 1 in India, if it matters to Netflix, we assume it matters to us. India has always been a key market for us, so we’re working on it and we’ll see how things unfold,” Khan explained.

Starting April 1st, Netflix India will begin streaming WWE programming.
