Rey Mysterio suffered a torn abductor on the Smackdown before WrestleMania, effectively ruling him out of his match against El Grande Americano. Mysterio has already undergone surgery earlier this week and is back home in California preparing to begin his rehab. While no timetable for a return has been released, this sort of injury usually requires 4-6 months of time to recover.

As revealed yesterday, Liv Morgan has bagged a major role in the upcoming film “Bad Lieutenant: Tokyo” which will keep her off WWE TV for the time being. Morgan is already in Japan with filming set to begin imminently and last for much of the month. With Morgan co-holding the Women’s Tag Team Titles with Raquel Rodriguez, there was some speculation on if WWE was going to strip the duo of the belts or vacate the titles in some way. However, the latest is that because Morgan is expected back within a month, the plan is to continue having them hold the titles.
