— Shane McMahon, who returned at WrestleMania 39 and unfortunately suffered an injury during his match against The Miz which was later to be a torn quadriceps muscle. PWInsider.com reports that McMahon was flown to Birmingham, AL and appears to have already underwent surgery to repair injury. He is already back home in the northeast recovering and probably will begin rehabbing soon.
— Shinsuke Nakamura, who hasn’t wrestled for WWE on TV since November, but was obviously around for WrestleMania weekend, is expected to rejoin the Smackdown brand soon.
— On the latest Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer speculated that the largely negative online reaction to Vince McMahon back in charge of WWE Raw will be seen by the company as a “positive” just due to the amount of discussion it has generated. Meltzer suggested that if there was no reaction at all to the change, WWE would have been “shaking their heads” wondering what went wrong but the reaction they got is what they wanted.
