— Last night on WWE Smackdown, the company introduced a talent “transfer window” which will ultimately see the GMs of all three brands (Raw, Smackdown, NXT) to discuss moving wrestlers within those brands.
— On last night’s show, Raw wrestler Chad Gable and American Made cut a promo, hinting that they could be moving over to Smackdown as part of the transfer and Michael Cole later mentioned the bit about the GMs discussing exchanging talent ahead of the New Year and Raw’s move to Netflix. Later in the show, Dominik Mysterio and Gunther were shown in discussions with Smackdown GM Nick Aldis.
— Rumors have also swirled backstage that WWE could be readying for an official draft in early 2025, but it’s not clear if that is going to be an event separate from this transfer window or if the moves will culminate in a draft.
