— Following the release of their Q4 and full year 2024 earnings report, TKO executives held a conference call with the media where they fielded questions on the business. WWE President Nick Khan was on the call and below are highlights relevant to WWE:
- WWE earned yearly revenues of $1.398 billion while UFC just edged them out with $1.406 billion. WWE’s Q4 generated $298.3 million but was down year-over-year by $32.9 million and this was due to a drop in media rights fees owing to WWE Raw’s contract with NBCUniversal expiring in September and the Netflix deal not kicking in until January, leaving the company to take in less money between October-December from USA.
- TKO head Mark Shapiro claimed that WWE Raw’s viewership is up 13% on Netflix compared to USA last year while also touting that NXT has provided a great uplift to the CW Network and is up 12% from when they were on USA.
- WWE president Nick Khan said that Netflix has an appetite for more WWE content and that more programming is set to come through the pipeline in the future.
- TKO CFO Andrew Schleimer said they are planning to have three WWE PLEs in Saudi Arabia in 2026 and this would be because they are only holding one in 2025. One of the 2026 events is already announced as next year’s Royal Rumble. They are also looking at bringing more events to Australia over the next few years.
- By integrating several departments of WWE and UFC into one, they revealed that the company reached their goal of $100 million in savings.
