WWE superstar Chad Gable has undergone surgery to fix up a nagging shoulder injury that he has been working through for a while now.
On the June 23 episode of WWE Raw, creative ran an angle where Penta took out Gable with his signature arm-breaker and reports soon emerged that the angle took place to write Gable out of storylines as he would need shoulder surgery. Last night on Raw, Gable re-appeared on Raw, arm in a sling, and confirmed that he would be going under the knife.
Gable then shared an update via his Instagram today, posting a short video clip of himself in a hospital bed after already having been operated on (seen below). He captioned the post with “I’ll be back quicker than you can say GRACIAS!”
Gable is currently the reigning WWE Speed Champion and the company hasn’t announced yet if they will force him to vacate the title and crown a new winner. Meanwhile, Gable also leads the American Made stable and wrestles as “El Grande Americano” though Ludwig Kaiser popped up in a backstage segment last night with the Americano gear on.
