— WWE announced last night’s WrestleMania 41 Night One attendance at 61,467 though it was estimated that the paying audience was around 57,000. CCO Paul Levesque noted that the gate for the yesterday was the largest one-day gate in WWE history and it is expected that Night Two will beat it.
— After suffering an injury on Friday’s Smackdown, Rey Mysterio missed WrestleMania 41. Dave Meltzer of f4wonline.com reports that Mysterio tore his groin, which if true, will no doubt sideline him for several weeks if not months.
— WWE announced that they acquired AAA during yesterday’s WrestleMania pre-show and it puts them squarely against AEW and CMLL. Fightfulselect.com reports that the WWE-AAA deal was finalized after AEW and CMLL announced their Arena Mexico show.
— With the great demand for WWE tickets and specifically for WrestleMania 41, WWE talent have found it nearly impossible to obtain comps for their family and friends.
