WWE’s plans for a multi-tiered network is now back off the table, according to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter. WWE had been contemplating the tiered approach for years and it would have featured content from the tape libraries of multiple independent promotions, including wXW, EVOLVE, ICW and Progress.
PWinsider.com reported that while the plans for the tiered network appear abandoned, WWE is still discussing the prospects of putting the indie content they now own on the current paid tier of the network.
