The opening bout for tonight’s WWE NXT show has been revealed.
During today’s loaded episode of WWE’s The Bump, it was announced that a non-title women’s match will be kicking things off on this week’s edition of the black-and-gold program on the USA Network.
NXT Women’s Champion Io Shirai will go one-on-one against Shotzi Blackheart in the opening match on NXT On USA tonight.
Previously announced for tonight’s show is Damian Priest vs. Timothy Thatcher for the NXT North American Championship, Killian Dain & Drake Maverick vs. Roderick Strong & Bobby Fish, NXT Tag Team Champions Breezango vs. Marcel Barthel and Fabian Aichner with the titles on the line and the start of the new NXT World Championship reign of Finn Balor.
