During the September 16th edition of WWE NXT on USA Network, two new NXT matches were announced for next Wednesday’s (09/23/20) edition of NXT.
A #1 Contender Battle Royal for the NXT Women’s Championship was announced to take place between Tegan Nox, Rhea Ripley, Shotzi Blackheart, Candice LeRae, Kayden Carter, Xia Li, Kacey Catanzaro, and more.
A match-up of Tommaso Ciampa vs. Jake Atlas will also take place on next week’s edition of NXT. After Ciampa’s match against Desmond Troy during tonight’s NXT, Jake Atlas came out with a microphone in hand and stated to Ciampa:
“I know how dangerous you are because you’ve been at the top of the food chain for so long. Next week, it’s my turn to eat, and I’m gonna show you just how dangerous I can be!”
Later on in the show, the match was officially announced to be set to take place during next week’s edition of NXT on USA Network.
