Matches Tonight: Six

Single’s Match: Adam Cole vs Carmelo Hayes (fka Christian Casanova). Great match with Carmelo Hayes taking Cole to task in a lengthy, fun match. 8:06-8:19pm EST

Women’s Tag Team Match: Io Shirai & Zoey Stark vs the Robert Stone Brand. Shirai & Stark defeated the RBS. Afterwards, a brief brawl broke out between various Women’s Tag Division teams. 8:40-8:52pm EST

Men’s Tag Team Match: the Way vs Pete Dunne & Oney Lorcan. Exciting tag match that saw the Way win and the crowd loudly cheering for Gargano throughout the match. 9:01-9:15pm EST

Single’s Match: Electra Lopez vs Franky Monet. Monet defeated Lopez in her debut. Short, but entertaining, match and Lopez has potential. 9:23-9:28pm EST

Tag Team Match: Hit Row vs Ever Rise. Hit Row dominated the short match, winning it easily. 9:35-9:40pm EST

Non-title Single’s Main Event Match: NXT Cruiserweight Champion Kushida vs Kyle O’Reilly. What started as a slow, highly technical match, ended with an exciting spurt of offense in the final minutes. Kyle O’Reilly picked up the win with a roll-up. 9:49-10:04pm EST

Premiere Encore: Frankie Monet. blah blah

Million Dollar Heat: More devleopment of the LA Knight/Cameron Grimes/Ted DiBiase situation from last week. Knight continues to insult DiBiase, and Grimes is willing to attack anyone who insults the Million Dollar Man.

Matches Announced: Next week, there’ll be a triple-threat women’s tag team match between the teams of Io Shirai/Zoey Stark, Ember Moon/Shotzi Blackheart, and Dakota Kai/NXT Women’s Champion Raquel Gonzalez.

Great American Bash Matches Announced: Timothy Thatcher & Tommaso Ciampa will challenge MSK for the NXT Tag Team Championship. Also, Kyle O’Reilly will face Adam Cole in Cole/O’Reilly II. (Or, O’Reilly/Cole II if you prefer.)

Mystery Battery Update: The mystery battery charged from 30% to 50% tonight.

Post Main Event: Adam Cole attacked Kyle O’Reilly; the Diamond Mine debuted, led by Roderick Strong and managed by Malcolm Bivens, and beat down Kushida to end our program. Tyler Rust was a second member of the trio, with an unidentified wrestler as the third member.
