Getting a rare chance to run unopposed with AEW Dynamite pre-empted to Saturday, NXT capitalized but not nearly as well as expected, generating an average audience of 853,000 – its highest viewership since December 2019.
In the 18-49 demographic, NXT climbed to a 0.24 rating, its best since February, placing it 23rd on the night.
While NXT picked up only a fraction of Dynamite’s audience, it was a tough night competition wise with ongoing coverage of the DNC as well as the NBA playoffs.
