Pre-Show Opener

As we enter the Pre-Show to WWE NXT TakeOver: Stand And Deliver (Night One) we are welcomed by Sam Roberts who is joined by the former MMA fighter, Jimmy Smith (from SiriusXM). As the kick-off show gets underway, Roberts and Smith hype up tonight's TakeOver event stating that there's so much action, NXT had to take TWO nights to fit it all in!

We are reminded that in order to watch WWE NXT TakeOver: Stand & Deliver (Night One) the stream is available for the pre-show as well as the full event on the USA Network as well as WWE Network. At this point Roberts and Smith take the time to give a quick run-down on the card for tonight's show. We are informed that the main event will be the NXT Women's Championship Match between Io Shirai and Raquel Gonzalez!

We are then sent to the ring as the first (and only) pre-show match-up is prepared to get underway as we get the entrances for both Toni Storm and Zoey Stark to get the match going!

Pre-Show Match-Up
Toni Storm vs Zoey Stark

Out first is Toni Storm as her entrance theme sounds and the crowd boos loudly to kick off the first match up of the evening! Storm enters the ring where she awaits her opponent for tonight's pre-show match up! Out next is Zoey Stark who makes her way down the ramp and then lands an impressive Springboard over the ropes and into the ring with her opponent, Storm.

With both competitors inside the ring, the referee signals for the bell. The bell rings and our pre-show match is officially underway! To start the action, we see Storm standing in her corner of the ring as Stark simply smiles at her in a mocking way before heading in. Next we see both women head into the center of the ring as they begin circling one another. After a bunch of jockeying, Stark finally applies a Headlock to Storm inside the ring.

Next, Storm repositions to put Stark in a Leg Lock, forcing the break to her Headlock hold. Storm again applies a Headlock to Stark who quickly maneuvers her way out of the hold to transition in to an Arm Lock. After that we see Stark allow Storm back up to her feet as she sends her into the ropes. Stark quickly counters as she sends Storm to the corner, to follow up with a Running Elbow on Storm in the corner of the ring! Stark quickly follows up with a Missile Dropkick! Storm quickly comes back with a Strike to Stark! Storm holds Stark by the chin and delivers a Strike. Storm then follows up with a European Uppercut. At this point Stark fights back suddenly with a flurry of chops and strikes, but again Storm shuts it down.

Next we see Storm land Stark on the canvas. Stark quickly makes her way back to her feet as she runs over to strike Storm to continue the match. Stark then climbs to the top as she hits a Superplex! This unfortuntely takes both women down as the referee begins the count out. As the referee gets to the three, both women begin to stir and make their way back to their feet.
