Expect some new concepts and ideas to be implemented into tonight’s WWE SummerSlam 2020 “go-home” episode of Friday Night SmackDown, which emanates from the Amway Center in Orlando, Florida, and features the official launch of the new WWE ThunderDome virtual fan experience (WATCH SPOILER VIDEO HERE).
The @WrestleVotes Twitter account notes that with WWE launching their ThunderDome concept tonight at SmackDown, it has not only invigorated the spirits and backstage morale of wrestlers and other staff, but the company is looking at it as a reboot of sorts with plans to introduce some “different but pretty cool” ideas.
Not only will there be new story line ideas, but the report hints that there could be a “return or 2” in the cards as well.
